This is fabulous!
The Labeque sisters playing the Martinu Concerto for two pianos, as recommended by Norman Lebrecht.
I could hear plenty of Gershwin in there initially but then it does it's own thing.
Super orchestral performance too with Pappano at the helm.
Hope you BT5 boys enjoy it.

Anyone sampled the Martinu?
An excellent discovery for me, I'm going to find a decent recording of it hopefully.

Excellent.(I recall that I had Martinu as my album choice a year or so ago). So many notes! Those Labequeian fingers were really flying. Why do you have to find a "decent recording" when you have that YouTube concert available? Seems mighty fine to me.

Julia Fischer is most persuasive here in Martinu’s 2nd VC with her wonderfully sinewy, plaintive tone.
Some breathtaking technique and musicality; the thought of memorising this work seems almost superhuman.
And don’t miss the stellar encore - it is not of this world.
A very high quality production in the beautiful Rudolfinum - when I eventually get to Prague a concert there will be a must.

Martha Argerich plays Ravel, on a special Steinway apparently.
Performed only a few weeks ago in Hamburg.
Beautiful looking venue.
