Looking nice Steve. I also spot a My Morning Jacket LP there. I love that band.

Kraftwerk - Minimum-MaximumStonking performances of their best songs. The bass is to die for! Agree, its an outstanding album. I was fortunate enough to see the London show of this tour. Brilliant.

So the downsizing of the system continues to fund my new bass guitar rig. My Benchmark DAC 1 HDR is for sale, I'd like £599 Inc delivery for this outstanding DAC/pre please. Overseas at cost. In addition to the coax/optical and USB inputs this also has an analogue input which, along with the provided remote control, balanced/unbalanced outputs, headphone amp, makes this a real Swiss Army knife bit of kit. Comes with original packaging, manual and replacement fuses (never needed). Collection from my home is possible or I'll deliver in the North East. Collection/working demo at NEBO may be possible but I'll ask for a small deposit to secure it. If you've any questions give me a PM. All the best. R

A belated hello from me, just up the road in, Gateshead.
Nice to see a good NE contingent on here. Must be something in the water.

Oh yes please. I think someone has now been saved from themselves so unless that changes, I'll be there. I only hope that when the dust settles they'll perhaps see my intentions were good. Horizontal or vertical stripes mate You look like a horizontal type to me , particularly when you've been on the Newcastle Brown Or I could do one with a musical theme like a big giant quaver .You could wear it when you're playing in the band Vertical stripes for me please, more flattering for the figure dontcha know.

Like that Type Five music Yes, I was quite flattered to be asked to play with them after they'd auditioned a few bass players. They'll be great live.

Excellent! That's a very purposeful looking amp you've got there. Thanks Chris, it is indeed. Another Swiss army knife piece of kit which does its thing in the living room with digital sources. It handles both movies and music well, taking an optical input from my TV and Chromecast for streaming. I occasionally connect the laptop via USB with a supra cable. There's also the ancient Marantz CD63SE lashed to one of the coax inputs. Plenty of clean power on tap here (stated as 140W/ch @4ohm) and can be used as either pre or power amp.

Daft question here but is there a sticky somewhere about how to post a few pics on this forum.
I'm still getting used to the UI.

Cheers Brian. If you've knitted a new frock especially for it, it'll be worth going for that alone.

They were an itch I needed to scratch and in my home they sounded wonderful but for reasons of domestic contentment and my own ever changing tastes they went the journey. I personally thought they were beautiful but that is in the eye of the beholder and marriages are built on compromises . Their new owner has every reason to be happy.
