And I mean out of control dangerous, not some wishy washy oooohhhhh I went on a big rollercoaster or look at me drive a fast car dangerous. Go play with bad boys in Chechnya, that sort of thing.

Let’s face it Slinger those guys change sides to simply suit themselves. No loyalty or religion can trump personal gain. Helps keep them alive and when you think what’s Adam’s has done(and lived) he’s obviously protected.
Better the devil you know springs to mind...

Think the simple answers money.
Means you can buy quality drugs and not street trash. And good medical care.

Churchills Soldiers on Netflix is ok. Covers the original SOE training but tbh it's a bit wishy washy.
Worth a watch though

Some interesting choices here. I'm gonna think on this and revisit but one guy stands out.
Not going to use his name but he was born in Glasgow to useless parents. Constant fights, malnutrition, poor living conditions etc etc.. Applies and is taken by the Army at 15,works his way up and serves in the SAS. He's given the job of killing Argentine pilots which he's overjoyed with as they're all officers. (That job didn't transpire btw). After the SAS he joins the NI police force and works with them, but hates them. He makes no bones telling them he hates them too and all the while works on his legal qualifications and ends up at QC level.
He's now one of the NW most feared defenders and is a specialist at dealing with crooked dirty police actions.
Great guy.

Picked up a pair of AR 4XA at the car boot sale. £6. But scruffy but whatever
Took them home, worked fine! Sounded ok...
They had tape on the front though so tried to remove that and cut out a tweeter.
Said duck it and threw them in the bin. Lasted maybe 5\6 minutes.

Yeah, they’re right dinky wee things and do sound good too. Agree totally, they’re not the most refined speaker but you know (roughly) what you’re getting.

Just straight forward Mike. Very - here’s what happens. Touching too, these people put a lot in...one episode deals with sex crimes and the effect it has on the investigating officer is tough. They cover things that drive me nuts too - just despicable people. Good to see them get rammied.

You know,if it’s of interest to you you may like to box swap av receivers as amps...they go for about £50 a time and give you plenty watts too.. Usually decent in stereo too.
Might appeal,might not

Find an old NAD C320 or maybe a Creek. Also worth looking at are the Yamaha - 701/501 maybe. About £300 anyway
Gimme a shout if you want to borrow a NAD

You've got quite the collection now, Chris. How many pairs? Yeah it's gotten a bit silly but that's it now. Plenty there. And I have said no to a couple of pairs recently... Think it's about 11 pairs now and I've spent under £300 on the 9 latest ones.
