£50 for these. They're awrite. Not the last word in refinement but they do like that Class D amp. Big solid sound. Weigh a ton too coz I put lead shot in the bottom of them.
Great for £50.

That's a good price, Chris. I quite fancy trying a pair of their bookshelf boxes as the front speakers in my 5.1 setup; maybe the 3010s or the 3020s.

You've got quite the collection now, Chris. How many pairs?

I've got all the stuff together that I need, but all my get up and go seems to have got up and gone lately.

You've got quite the collection now, Chris. How many pairs? Yeah it's gotten a bit silly but that's it now. Plenty there. And I have said no to a couple of pairs recently... Think it's about 11 pairs now and I've spent under £300 on the 9 latest ones.

I heard a pair of Q Acoustic bookshelf speakers at the Wigwam show a few years ago. Seriously impressed. Until the volume level went above moderate, after which they sounded increasingly coarse and unpleasant, unlistenable really. Seriously good at lower level stuff, though.

Yeah, they’re right dinky wee things and do sound good too. Agree totally, they’re not the most refined speaker but you know (roughly) what you’re getting.
