It's not going too well for me so far with my recent Evri debacle. The seller opened a claim, that went quiet so I opened one - not got beyond a chatbot response from them yet. Will give it a few days and then claim on eBay.

Here's the response I got from Evri.
Hmm ...
< I'm sorry to hear your parcel still hasn't been located. I would advise that you contact the shipper as they will be able to discuss a potential replacement or refund with you directly. I will inform the courier's manager of this outcome. >

My inexpensive other ethernet cable from Amazon, which I thought might be coming from China (with a name like DanYee, why would I think that?) appears to be coming from the US.
Not just anywhere in the US, it started off in Edison, NJ, US. Straightforward.
However, now it's in Us, US, US.
Would anyone among our US colleagues please tell me where Us, US, US might be?

DHL. Confusing
Email and text last week to say delivery this coming Friday. Ok
Email and text early this Wednesday morning to say delivery today, 10.40 - 12.40pm Good stuff
Email at 12.20 to say Arriving soon. Yes, I knew that
Didn't, so around 1.30pm I tracked and saw
"Status Delivery attempt could not be completed : Wednesday, May 01, 2024 at 12:35
Further Detail The courier was not able to access the consignee's premises."
That's a pain and hopefully not mis delivered... Guess we're back to Friday then
DHL van outside at 2.20pm and package delivered

I opened a case with eBay due to the Evri failed delivery but they say their Money Back Guarantee isn't applicable here, as the courier leaving an item on your doorstep is technically considered a delivery ... But of course, why didn't I guess that !! So two options left - the seller refunds me and claims from Evri or I contact MasterCard and start a chargeback.

Yodel - bad review on their site, and a bad review on Trustpilot.
The driver dumped my parcel outside my (internal) front door, thereby avoiding my exterior security buzzer, my internal doorbell, and even the effin doorknocker on my new front door. If it hadn't been for the audible alert I've got set up for eBay on my iPad Mini I wouldn't have checked outside, as the eBay message was to tell me it had been delivered.
The tracking on Yodel's site stated it had been left in my "safe place". So, that'll be the safe place I haven't got set up then, will it, Yodel?

I mentioned on 30th June that I had bid on, and " won," an item on eBay, which was automatically paid for, and marked as dispatched. Now, obviously the " dispatched" part of that was pure bollocks, and proved by what happened next. I was issued a Post Office tracking code, which simply stated (on the Post Office tracking page) that it was a tracking code, and more information would not be given until they " attempt to deliver" my parcel. Today, I thought I'd go back and check the original delivery estimate on eBay and saw that the tracking now said that my parcel has been split into two parts. Not without a £$%^ing chainsaw it hasn't. Helpfully(?) eBay offered me the choice to " Choose which package you would like to track," both of which were exactly the same, obviously. Yes, both " parts" had exactly the same tracking number, as before, except this time when I clicked on either of them I was directed to a Parcelforce tracking page. Today is July 5 th, according to Parcelforce, they picked it up on the 4 th. It will, apparently, be arriving between yesterday, (the day they picked it up), and Monday. My money is on Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday. Hopefully, both parts will have been made whole again by then. Upon digging deeper it turns out that the switch from Post Office to Parcelforce is what occasioned my parcel's unwanted bifurcation, and it's now actually been marked as " dispatched" twice, once for each carrier.

Bloody Hell! I stocked up on Jacamo t-shirts yesterday (I virtually live in them while slobbing about indoors) and today, Sunday, I received an email from their preferred courier, Evri, to apologise for the delay to my parcel which would now be delivered tomorrow, and not today, as expected. I do recommend their cotton t-shirts, by the way. They're of decent enough quality for knocking around the house, and they actually sell " extra long" v-necks, which I prefer. Amongst my other sale bargains, at seven quid a pop, I picked up a pack of seven assorted colour v-neck shirts for £36.40, which is £5.20 per shirt and a definite bargain.

My last few experiences of Evri have improved remarkably.
I wonder if they finally started listening?
