Put things back as they were. Check that nothing is faulty, especially the SMPS.

I'm going with Tim.
I would add: listening to music comes first, adjustments to the system only in spare time, don't eat into your listening time. Finally, don't make any changes you can't roll back.

What does it do that you need? Make playlists for you?
No thanks, I don't use playlists like that. I add stuff I want into my playlists as a catalogue. The Qobuz app is very easy to take the songs I want to keep in my Queued for Playing playlist to one of my permanent ones. I use the Qobuz curated playlists (or just burrow myself) to try out new material and then add them to Queued for Playing.

Microfibre cloths for me (I buy big packs for the car).
I also have an artificial feather duster that is great for between components and shelves.

More than petty: today's traffic driving the M3 followed by the M25 to see my mother in her care home was an utter misery from start to finish.
When I got home I just wanted to crawl into bed and power down.

The sound that I always remember from Alien is the clanking of chains together with the depiction of filth and abandonment in the storage areas when they are all looking for the xenomorph. That and the proximity detector noise showing its presence when they still can't see it.

Saint-Saëns: Danse Macabre + others, Fischer, Utah SO What a wonderful performance of the Danse Macabre this is, and beautifully recorded too. I though Hyperion were holding out against streaming but I'm glad they aren't. open.qobuz.com/track/249504680

Groovify app sounds great For Spot only though so far as I can see Anything for the beloved Qobuz.....? What do you need, Mike? There are Qobuz apps for Windows, Android, iOS.

I got a bufferbloat rating of A+ for the main barn today, so it obviously varies quite a bit, as 4G/5G services tend to.

I think video streaming is like audio streaming. Most see it as revenue, a few care about the quality.

I've just watched Dark Matter E1. Yep, it's pretty good and follows the book, so far at least. E2 hits hard. The full power of the book, which I read some years ago, is coming back to me.

Will one improve things for those of us with a naff signal ? i doubt it, Mike, as it didn't before. As I remember, it was worse for you. See if you can subscribe to mast/service updates for your service provider. They might announce a big upgrade that will change things for you.

The 2nd TP-Link MR600 arrived today and I swapped it for the Sercom unit that Three had provided for the main barn (not used for streaming music). I setup QoS for the three TVs as high priority, everything else to medium or low. I'm not only getting 75% signal strength now (50% before) but the video streams start a lot quicker. Very happy with having two of these excellent 4G+ routers.

I used to think the BBC were using terrible compressors but now their UHD broadcasts are some of the best looking ones.
