Ron Tutt also featured on Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons albums, as well as The Jerry Garcia Band.. He knew Glen D. Hardin and James Burton from Elvis's band and after they both joined Emmylou's "Hot Band," he played alongside them on Elite Hotel and Blue Kentucky Girl before she settled on John Ware as her "go-to" drummer.
RIP Ron.

I will miss you Graeme."

I make no excuses for reposting something I said elsewhere, because it's pretty much everything I want to say.

The bad news is on a roll. Michael Nesmith, Monkees Singer-Songwriter, Dead at 78 “ With infinite love we announce that Michael Nesmith has passed away this morning in his home, surrounded by family, peacefully and of natural causes,” his family said in a statement OBITI loved the Monkees when I was younger, and a lot of their music has stood the test of time, and still sounds good to me. I've got a few of Mike's post-Monkees albums too, both with his "First National Band," who were ahead of their time, and some of his excellent solo stuff.
