RIP Shel Talmy, producer for the Who, the Kinks and David Bowie. The American producer helped to craft a raw, immediate sound for British rock in the mid-1960s, with hits such as You Really Got Me and My GenerationOBIT

RIP Vic Flick, guitar legend.
You may not think you knew Vic, but if you're a James Bond fan then you've heard him play one of the most iconic shord in movie music - Em(Maj9)
WTF? Yes, I know. It sounds like this... (apologies for the industrial level of cursing, but it cracked me up the first time I heard it, and no that's not Vic)
Yes, Vic Flick was the man who played the Dr. No theme music, which was the first time it had been heard, all of it that is, not just that chord.
If you want to know more about Vic's incredible career tyou'll enjoy this.
