Out of curiosity... I'm happy with the SR fuses I have (Red, Orange, Purple). Has anyone here tried any of the QSA fuses? More thinking of the entry price fuses for LPS duty. Spending £200 on the yellow and having it described as "entry level" could be considered not clever marketing.

but the SR fuses have a more musical sound. I agree with that, and would go further: The Orange and Purple are outstanding, bringing out the music, detail and soundstage in a highly beguiling way. The Red is old world, good but not in the above category. The Blue is mushy and horrible. Agree with the sound issues of the Blue. However it worked great feeding my OLED TV. Both orange and purple overcooked my OLED TV image with massive over saturation and weird contrast. Blue looks amazing and is still there.

Not provisionally calibrated but visually calibrated by myself using a couple of test cards. As previously suggested on other posts when I upgraded my SR fuses I looked elsewhere to install them. The difference it made to my TV was not subtle. As though the backlight has been boosted without touching anything in the setup. For me it gave higher natural saturation and much greater contrast range. I started with the red, then black then orange and lastly purple. All fuses were well burnt in and left for a few days at a time to settle. Each got better up to blue then for me it went horribly wrong with the orange and worse with purple. Too much punch with stinging highlights and smothering of shadow detail. Worse was the crossing of colours so you would get a yellow and blue cast on the same image. Skintone went upleasantly yellow. Orange and purple are the best sounding so no idea what happened.

I have a spare SR Red that I shall try with our LG OLED main TV. Interesting that they work differently for video versus audio.

I've had the only SR Blue I own (came in a Coherent BD cable, purchased from Tony), in the plug on my LG OLED 65" screen for a couple of years and concur with the findings of kinfauns.

I found AMR gold works well with OLED and Virgin V6 cleaning up the picture nicely. Soundwise I have found the gold similar to the blue. Coincidence that they both work well with TV? I also found any standard, new fuse needs burn in when used with my TV. Picture goes wonky and noisy until settled in. I found watching a fuse burn in just as interesting as listening to one!

As they say in snooker - "It's difficult to get a good screw off the pink, when it's so close to the brown!

Trying to see where the fuse might be located on my Sony A95L QOLED tv. I already replaced the captive power cord with an IEC, so I can use an aftermarket power cord. Where is the fuse??

I am using a SR blue in the mains plug of an LG OLED with great results. I didn't change any internal fuse. Just be mindful of the fuse rating.
