I am looking to replace the iFi Power X on my router with a proper linear power supply.
I am after suggestions please. Budget is £300 to include the DC cable. Needs to be 12 volt 2 amp or greater.

I've had a couple of those Weilang ones. Can't comment on sq but they were very reliable.

Don't forget that the device you're going to connect it to has a switching regulator or two inside, and a small ferrite clamp at the device end would help prevent switching noise getting back to the PSU.

The Weiliangs are good and inexpensive, the Zero Zone 01-A quite a bit better.
They both have internal voltage adjustment.

I am happy to say that the Zero Zone 01-A is very good and much better than I was expecting. For the money it is a complete bargain. On my router it has had a dramatic effect which I can not only hear on my may system but all of the devices which also use it. Sonos via Wifi, you can clearly hear the darker background from the lack of noise, it is not subtle. Xbox's streaming Youtube, yes the picture and sound is better and I can see and hear this when the kids are watching random stuff.

After about 4 hours mine started to come to life. After 6 days it was noticeable it had improved with everything sounding way more relaxed. |
