Mine just arrived But I think I'll have to be patient Opened the box. Very well packed That case is *COLD*. Will leave it a while to settle in Few hours or a whole day ? After about 4 hours mine started to come to life. After 6 days it was noticeable it had improved with everything sounding way more relaxed. We've had very cold weather the past few days and the package was cold every step of the way from China I'm sure Case is still very cold so I will leave it absorbing heat from the room gently until tomorrow as I reckon the insides won't take kindly to being heated up from very cold in one hit |

The Weiliangs are good and inexpensive, the Zero Zone 01-A quite a bit better. They both have internal voltage adjustment. Can I change the voltage of the Zero myself? |

Yes, there is a potentiometer inside. You will need a DVM to set it correctly.
It's also worth changing the internal DC fuse for a HiFi Tuning.

Phew, thanks Saw 120, as I thought, turned it straight off Safety first and wear glasses more often  Yes, tis 12.0 Manual or even instruction sheet would have been useful. Why does it need a display ? |

It makes adjustment easier. It drifts a little with temperature. Mine reads 12.2V most of the time, sometimes shows 12.1V. It matters not, long term stability being much less important than short term regulation, which all those supercaps help with.
I said earlier "you will need a DVM to adjust it" and, while not strictly true, I would not trust a display on its own without verifying with an external meter. But that's the engineer in me.

Hopefully the "never switch the bloody PSU off" will follow on from that. Leave them to stabilise and stay that way.

Look very carefully at the shipping options before you buy I paid around a fiver to get it 2-3 weeks earlier and I think it arrived a day or two sooner than estimated as well Will leave it plugged in for a while then check how it is doing So far it seems to have made the system sound better - what !? |

Double effect: better PSU for the router, one more SMPS noise creator eliminated from your mains.

Ok, just placed my order. It’s expected Jan 12th.
I decided to go with the single output super capacitor power supply rather than a dual output.
The LPS will power my router and I got an ifi i power2 for the fibre to cat 6 converter which arrived today. It puts out 1.8A @ 12v, so wasn’t enough to try on the router which needs 2.5A.

My LPS arrived at 9:30 this morning!
I’ve just connected it up. It was supposed to come with a default Blue screen, but it came with Red. Not a big deal as it’s out of sight.

A good standard LPS for router (Mobile or cable newtwork distribution) is a positive step forward especially if you obtain your music via your IP. Just putting the finishing touches on one from agood friend of mine who is an American airman stationed here in the UK, its a late Christmas gift for him as he has been extremely helpful this year, top bloke. Although it might be touch overkill for his set up, but then again his an American 
Uses a 300Va 120V core dual secondaries (I know he will be adding something else in that area around April) so just covering the bases.
