I know you chaps have an interest in wifi routers, so this came across my desk a while back, should be of interest for some of you. We had a wi-fi 6 mesh system at my place of work, with 112 APs. Where wi-fi 6 scores is not so much outright speed but density of connected clients where it could almost double the number of simultaneous connections. This worked really well when students were congregated in, for instance, their common rooms and they were using mostly up to date client devices. It tended to be the 2.5Gbps ethernet feed to the AP that saturated! For home use, I am not convinced that wi-fi 6 will make much difference. We have a wi-fi 5 mesh system at home and both stream and compute all over the wi-fi system without any contention or slow-downs.

November all ready, where does the time fly? This year has simply flown by at a frantic speed. The lab has been swapped with work for the last 9 months or so, to the point we have new members of staff in the elelctronics repair and manufacturing side. Below a sample of what has passed through the doors of the lab in the last few months.

Are the top 5 photos all of the Nagra? Not impressed with the build quality for a brand of that reputation.

In the case (pun intended) of the D'Agostino I have to agree with Mike, black cases look better.

I have had both colours and it does depend on the system I feel, that one in the image now sounds a whole lot more engaging and has decent depth and the flow is getting there. Oddly enough they are quite a bit warmer than the Krells, I ran it in my system and it was quite fine, not like you hear at the shows.
