Playlists
A pain. Went to play a Qobuz playlist and Bubble asks - Replace the content of the (current Bubble) playlist Well no I don't Back to playlist drawing board

Well, of course you do. The Qobuz playlist doesn't actually replace anything but you must have stuff queued up in Bubble for playing.
Stick to Qobuz playlists and all will be well.
I never, ever see these 'issues' that you have!

Qobuz app is going to be well used from now on
Remind me why you save the first track from an album rather than the whole album Didn't catch on

Remind me why you save the first track from an album rather than the whole album Good question. If you add an album to a playlist, it adds all the tracks making playlists annoyingly large and unwieldy. By adding a single track (any, it could be track #1 or your favourite), you keep the playlist manageable. If I want to play a whole album, select track from playlist, three-dots, show album, play.

Thanks
Does this mean You select track, play album and when the album finishes you click next track in playlist and do the same ?

In practice, my next selection is unlikely to be the next album in the playlist. I go to Library and either scroll within that playlist, or Back to all playlists and continue there.

Ah. My current feeling is to select a load and let them play
In the You couldn't script it / This could only happen to me section
Called up Qobuz playlists from Bubble. Only showed what I had yesterday. Ok I'll try one "Can't do that" or similar
Exit Bubble, reboot tablet
Great all playlists show now Click "Added to playlist" - What !? Last time it asked did I want to *replace* current playlist
Wrong result but closer to what I wanted - I think
Music sounds wonderful

No, no, no! I've already told you, you only need to close Bubble (fully close by dismissing from the open apps button [square]) and then re-open it for it to re-read the playlists.
Why you no risten?

If in doubt reboot Music didn't stop the whole time Seemed more than re read the playlist. It would not play

Plan for today was to check out grounding boxes Confirm what works best where. Too nice to just listen music. Maybe tomorrow...

Hard to test as if you take out you don't hear the full effect straight away

They don't like being messed with and always have settling time. It means once I've found a working setup I really don't like mucking around with them.

My first QAs took weeks to come on song. The later ones were immediate although they could have improved slowly
Starting with disconnecting cable Could leave for a few days, but that would be very long winded
Moving boxes further along

Streaming today the system sounded wonderful. Full, rich, bassy - just right not overblown
Time for another comparison of streaming to CD
Are we there yet ?
Difficult to tell. Think the CD just has it, but must compare close together

Migration maybe Emigration With all the system changes and more to come I have a 3 dimensional block puzzle I'm going all or part way towards the MartinT layout with all the interweb stuff on a separate cabinet leaving the main system on the end of the long Cisco lead As the cabinet in the corner holds the router and PSU for the clock but also became a dumping ground for all sorts I need to clear that first Then up comes my 'bought for a rainy day, you never know when useful' my Creaktiv Audio Absorber or CREAKTIV Absorberplatte Sound Control Black of course Fingers crossed the system is happy with me making the changes !

Nice! Good luck with it, Mike.
I think all the pre-processing stages (4G+ router, EtherREGEN, AfterDark clock, 2 x PSUs, grounding boxes) isolated from the main system by the Cisco fibre cable, have worked very well for me.
Your Creaktiv shelf should work at least as well, if not better, than my tall planter table on Auva feet.

A tale of Two PSUs Yesterday 2 Uptone JS-2s arrived Seemed a good idea to plug them in Mavis - Eyes on the prize Sounded brilliant. How could it be better Zero Zone powering EtherRegen turned off Very careful connection of JS-2 to EtherRegen Check Check Check Play More bass, more vivid vocals more solid mid range, more top end detail in percussion. more body in the Ry's guitar Weillian PSU to AfterDark clock turned off Check check check Even more of the above and 'slower' more deliberate, vocals more pronounced, foreground and background From cold ! Can live with this Listening 24 hours later seems a full sound, very natural More to come with Black Ravioli, granite placemats, Creaktiv base and that rearangement mentioned above.

Sounds good Mike. Can I ask where you ordered the JS-2’s from?
