Current state of play sound quality
Intrigued by the performance of the Bluetooth receiver I decided to compare performance
Connected to the TAD with a budget coax
King Crimson - Cirkus - from Lizard
Lots of tinkling, vocals, various guitar, sax and others. Lots going in
Not having played with Qobuz from the laptop via Bluetooth I found it set to
MP3
Staying with that, play track
Sounds pretty good if not perfect. Assume I can beat it easily
Switch to CD quality
Better, more defined, more space
HiRes up to 96k
Improved further much as above, couple of glitches, (damn)
HiRes up to 192k, will this work ?
Yes. Another small step up, no glitches !

What if...
One Black Ravioli under the Bluetooth adaptor
Definite step up, not what I expected, quite noticeable, biggest step so far
Slightly rounded top on the adaptor. Will it take a granite coaster ?

Swap from ZXE router to TP Link ... ?

TP link added advantage with outdoor aerial connection as opposed to rabbit ears on the previous router
Grounded with a QA Premium box croc clipped to the metal case of the Ugreen RJ45

Swap to tablet and Bubble running into Rendu chain, Ugreen RJ45s and DXE ISOs, EtherRegen converter on one Black Ravioli, QA Premium clipped, AfterDark clock, Rendu, Mad Scientist USB cable to TAD
Nice step up, Phew

Another small step up. Not quite there yet streaming, but I need to test more to be sure.
Summary :
Running *this Bluetooth Adaptor around £30 from AliExpress or Ebay is stunningly good for very little dough.

Recommended if you are wondering about going streaming as the price of entry is so low.

Worth bearing in mind that the
TAD D-1000
is a stunningly good CD / DAC / Pre and has that inhouse advantage with all in the same box
Streaming feeds into the DAC part of the D-1000
Hopefully all clear.
