Not as big a kW capacity as the cab size would suggest..

Agreed - I suspect it's because it's a high-efficiency condensing boiler and the extra dimensions probably contain the condensing gubbins and better insulation.

I fixed a blown floodlight bulb last night. I had driven home fast in the hope of some daylight remaining, but it wasn't to be. So there I was at the top of a ladder in pitch darkness (we live in the country) save for the torch in my mouth (because I don't have three hands), fiddling to first undo the rusted and stuck bolt and then change the halogen bulb while trying not to touch it, all the time hoping that my other half doesn't suddenly arrive and trigger the damn thing on!
Success was finally had so we are able once again to walk to the garage without doing ourselves an injury in the darkness.

A rare occasion where a head torch would be good I have one somewhere I've never used - plus I doubt I can find it

Guys, the Molaer headlamp. $20 bucks on Amazon. It's not like a bulb it's like a flat green strip across your forehead you can be working in the backyard at night and damned near forget that it's night time. This thing is legit.
I'll be gifting 2 of them this christmas to my 2 fellow coworkers (there're just 3 of us total).

I'd just like to add one thing here about that Molaer head lamp.
Somebody let me borrow one for one night because my parents are selling their house soon and I've been there late into the night many times since spring working on things.
Within 10 minutes I couldn't live with out it and bought one that night.

It was time for a refurbishment of the bathroom. It was built in the 50's and was given a 'facelift' in the early 80s by someone with an enthusiasm for contact adhesive and then abandoned. Okay, it is definitely a bit retro. and probably rather small by today's standards (the tiles are 15 mm x 15 mm), but it does have hand-made taps, spout and drain and trap now! A friend found her old doll's house in the cellar when clearing out her mother's place earlier this year. She originally planned to throw it all out, but we persuaded her not to and now she has decided it might be nice to restore it and put it on display. They brought it over the other day and made a start of pulling the old paper, etc off and I have started to repair and restore all of the components. The wash basin is now complete and the porcelain bath is now back in one piece and the water heater and tiles associated with it are nearly complete. There is a bit of painting to do to the toilet and then the bathroom at least will be complete. Kitchen next I think and then on to the living room - her dolls were obviously keen on Hi-Fi as there are two radiograms in there!

Well, there is a 33cm Gomtaro but it may not be as simple as just going bigger, Mike. Your arm will only draw back a finite distance, so go too big and you will just be wasting some of the saw's length and, therefore, your money. Also, it will increase the possibility of buckling, bending or snapping the blade, especially if it gets pinched. I wouldn't go longer than 50cm. You could try a Genki Temagari 500 www.silkyfox.co.uk/genkitemagari.php

It will cut a good bit quicker because of the tooth size

I opened up a wall in a small bathroom for added space. Installed new large white tile flooring.
Also added an updated glass shower door.

There can be a lot of latent energy stored in a fallen or leaning tree Mike, so take extreme care. Things can happen very quickly and be way out of control.
