I have been chatting with Vic about Bluetooth. It seems sound quality can vary greatly depending on your phone/tablet For instance Google pixel sounds awful. My Samsung A52 and A7 tablet sound good, so for those who have had issues with BT, it could be the phone or tablet you are using.
I know this will put people off, but for me, I love the ease of use. I guess I was lucky with my choice on phone and Tablet

That's also my experience. My Samsung S10 was poor and would also drop out, but my S20 Plus is very good as is my Samsung A6 lite tablet.

I wonder what makes one tablet sound better than another?

Technology ! Maybe even variability between the same model

Indeed.
My point being that until someone works out exactly what makes the difference, it's a lottery when buying a tablet or phone for BT use. Mine was pants for audio but I have other uses for it thankfully.

Great.
How do you like the phone?
I'm using an old Umidigi - it's been a great phone, only let down by software updates being halted about a couple of weeks after buying, which wasn't impressive.
