There was a podcast called Prometheus By The Minute. It's now called Covenant Minute but the Prometheus episodes are still there.
Each episode covers each minute of the film. Episodes range from 6 minutes to 40 minutes in duration. A lot is revealed about each of the films in the franchise a very worthwhile listen imo.
I feel like the final cut of Prometheus can be a bit disappointing but as a bunch of pieces, some of which are excellent, I can see what could have been and what they almost achieved.

I saw Prometheus in 3D, and the extra dimension made it quite watchable. It was even better if you ignored the fact that it was supposed to be shoehorned into the Alien canon.

The franchise needs to be put away now, the world doesn't need any more Alien films, they're just undermining the worth of the first two. I'd say that the massive success of Romulus at the box office suggests otherwise. People very much want to see these films they aren't the problem it's the dusty old fans who cant let go of 1979 and 1986 that will forever be unhappy with these films but clearly it makes far more sense to keep making these films if you look at box office gross numbers of Prometheus, Covenant and Romulus.

AI remakes on a desktop PC... A PC where the graphics card alone will set you back in the region of $2K / £2K and that's without the liquid cooling you'll want.

$2k loose change for hollywood
The Lord of the Rings television show is going to cost all the gold in the Lonely Mountain. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Amazon will spend million — $465 million in U.S. dollars — for just the first season of the show.
AI Music , TV & Film just press the space bar

I see the films as pretty much unbeatable. I didn't enjoy them as much as I expected, but then only The Hobbit as a book really worked for me.
But a TV series so soon afterwards? While there are SO MANY good novels worth adapting for TV?

The first series of The Rings of Power was very variable in quality. The second series which I'm watching now is absolutely superb entertainment. So it should be for what it cost!

While there are SO MANY good novels worth adapting for TV? So soon? You do realise that the first of the Peter Jackson trilogy was released 23 years ago? Jackson's "Hobbit" trilogy was released between 2012, 1nd 2014. The Rings Of Power is set in the " Second Age," (The Hobbit/LOTR is the " Third Age") thousands of years before LOTR, and covers the age Tolkein wrote about in (although it's not an adaptation of...) The Silmarilion. So it's not even a LOTR show, just one based on the other writings of Tolkein, which sets the scene for Lord of the Rings. In fact, thinking about it, it's sort of based on all the explanitory footnotes etc. found in the LOTR novels. My name is slinger, and I am a geekaholic.
