Done!
I'm not getting them shipped to Australia, if they were to get delayed and I left before their arrival, I'd have noone to send them back to the UK which is just not worth the stress...
To say I'm excited to see the improvement they bring is an understatement but I'll have to be patient as it's going to be a while before the stereo gets into the country as well.

Update on the three Shakti Airs I put into my system. Originally I had one under my mains conditioner and the other two under my amps.
I moved the ones under the amps to one under my DAC and the other under my music server - this lead to a more substantial improvement on my sound.
Oh yes, I adjusted the Shakti's position under the mains conditioner to be less central and nearer the power switch - experimenting with positions the devices is advised.
Their effect is akin to lowering the noise floor, so more of the musical message is getting through, especially in terms of micro details and cues, a pianos hammer is easier to hear, more of a musicians inflections in their technique are detectable; tiny nuances that were previously smeared are clearly apparent.
Timbre is improved, instruments sound more fleshed out and realistic, decays have more definition to them. A real plus is there's no harm done, they don't change voicing, they just allow more of the components truth through.
I've purchased six more as the cable co have them on special and I want one for every platform in my rack.
YMMV with tweaks (components?) like these based on conditions in your living space and I guess the design and build of your componentry, but from my experience, in my system, I highly recommend them.

Be interesting to hear these against Black Ravioli

Be interesting to hear these against Black Ravioli Don't black ravioli typically build footers? I've seen they do grounding devices too, no experience with grounding at all yet (my wallet just gulped). I'll bring them over when I visit Mike, we can pop them in and see what they do. I imagine in a highly resolving system like yours it'd be pretty clear to hear.

I took delivery if the additional six Shakti Air units today and got them fitted. Every component now has one underneath them, apart from two where there is not space (Lpsu for PC and DC blocker unit) in which case they're on top.
As I have nine of them but only eight boxes in the rack, I have two under my DAC.
I've been doing some critical listening and the effect of them is certainly additive; they allow resolution through and remove a slight tension from the sound - the type you never realised was there until it's gone.
As you'd imagine from a tweak like this they work across the entire frequency range and allow your components true potential to shine through - I had no idea the equipment I had could sound this good!
Everything has this extra palpability about it, texture is better defined, colour saturation is up a notch and for want of a better way to explain it, this inner-resolution is unleashed. You don't have to try and notice the change, you relax and out they pop, strings have more bite, you hear fingers slide and interact with them, singers take little breaths, their voices crack, electronic details have more going on, music just sounds better - what a pleasure! Again, the real magic trick here is the tonal balance is not affected, there is no bleaching, etching, brightening going on.
I really wonder how much people would slow down box swapping / hunting if they properly sorted the fundamentals and foundations of their system out first - which I now consider EFI/RFI management a key part of that infrastructure.
