I have to admit that I don't have any plans whatsoever to change my system over the next year, as I am extremely happy with what it is doing for me.
However, you may have big plans for change. If so, why not tell us about them here?

Very little, if anything, in 2019.
I'm extremely happy with how it sounds.

I am not sure to be honest After the latest Spotify update My system freezes when I change albums. If I can't get sorted means a radical change to my front end. I really hope I don't have to go down this route as love the sound

Using librespot which is a dedicated plugin on Eunhasu Cannot find the plugin for LMS can find plugin for Tidal etc but Tidal very expensive and as I don't have MQA seems pointless for sound quality improvements I can't hear I have asked Elite Audio if they can help as could be the card needs an re-image but think it a coding issue and something not likely to be fixed any time soon

It's possibly not ideal, but it's something to keep you going. I have LMS running on a RasPi, with my local library is sat on a bog standard NAS. I have the latest version of piCorePlayer, along with the latest LMS build. Spotify is rapidly accessed, and glitch free (as are all the various streaming services I've tried). Since I spent half an hour perusing the application, switching off all the various functions not needed (such as WiFi/Bluetooth/HDMI) on the RasPi things have been as solid and as slick as I like. I don't do flaky at all. The LMS plugin for your SoTM setup is likely to be the last version that SoTM would have licensed, so it might not be at all up to date. LMS is freeware to single end users, but I believe commercial use has to be licensed. Control of LMS can be from an http:// page (web browser), or from apps such as iPeng (for the fruit based computing inclined folks), or Orange Squeeze on Android devices. I rather like using Orange Squeeze. It has an nice, intuitive interface, and you get lots of nice album covers to view, dependent on your library view.

This year exciting new amplifiers which have now finally ready for production plus a new reference dac. Also looking forward to the new Tad E1TX-K's which are due in the next month.
Oh and I need to build a bigger server again, now well over 340 TB of music lol

Anyway project for Januray along with a few others lol

Few things then I think I'm done. Invested a bit recently / More to come in 2019 Bit of a list: * Upgrading the Densen preamp to a PS Audio BHK Signature.(Coming next week) * Swapping out the 2KVA balanced mains with a 5KVA one, improving wiring from the wall+to the block with Oyaide Black Mamba 2 mains cable. * Wireworld Eclipse Silver 7 power cables all round (Shuko terminated)into a Wireworld Matrix 2 6 gang shuko block. Another Silver 7 from the block (UK plug) to a double socket fed from the balanced mains. * Interconnects changed to Wireworld Gold Eclipse 8 (Just need 2 thankfully!) * Set of WE 300B's for the SET power amp....nice.
* Already had the DS dac upgraded (for free!) thanks to a software update.
Other than that...more live music!

I'm not feeling the need for major changes atm, very happy and a bit wary of change just for the sake of it. -- yes, this really is me. Very conscious that I nearly made a major boo-boo when I 'upgraded' the valves in my Herron pre. ... I nearly sold it before realising that the pre's magic was dependent on the stock EH valves. I might try some gold pin EH in 2019. A couple of bits are on the way from China - a linear PSU for my W4S reclocker, and a grounding box as I have been intrigued by the very positive comments on these devices by a couple of TASers. Might also invest in the top of the range W&M speaker cables as I really like the cheaper ones already in my system. Perhaps 2019 will be a year of consolidation, making the best of a system that already hits the spot.

Unless a Primare DAC 30 comes up for £350.00 or under I'll be buying nothing major at all, and as they retail at around two grand I'll, therefore, be buying nothing major at all.

Have a Transcendent Sound Pinnacle -300b monoblock OTL kit to build. Was going to build it stock initially but now changed my mind, going to add some very good filament supplies and a delay on the HT to allow the heaters to warm up. Will give the 300b's a much easier life.

I will just be making small tweaks to the new digital system - no major component changes on the horizon I hope!
Need to make some decisions on what to keep for the analogue system though, got a few bits to sell.

The designs are pretty solid, Rozenblit knows what he is doing. Been using a Mini Beast I built for the last couple of years with no issues at all, great sounding amp, however I heard a modded Pinnacle at a previous Owston which is by some way the best sounding amp I've ever heard. I'm hoping with the mods I'll be doing I'll get close to that. If so I'll be very happy. The caveat of course is you need suitable speakers. And of course there is the cost of eight 300b's lol.
