Haha
Did snow here last night in New England. Around 10pm was snowing enough to need windshield wipers on full speed.

4'c here but feels much colder with a hard, cold wind. Sleet mixed in with rain around 8am Heating seems to be struggling to heat the house. Must go around looking for draughts.
Looks like we are in for serious weather

Indeed - it was positively glacial in Highgate this morning.
Just been out again and definitely not as cold but the wind is fierce, so the job is to avoid any falling debris from the very large trees round here!

Yup, very cold up here too in Central Scotland, but no snow. Long may it last You soft Southerners must really be suffering A mate sent me a picture of heavy snow where he lives in Birmingham. I said mate, that's what we call a 'dusting' of snow where we live

Open fields at one very cold point

My neighbour tells me a slate has blown off my roof. I feel lucky it's just the one. I'm in Whitby so feeling a bit worried. A few more beers and I won't care. It was extremely windy in Whitby this morning, wheelie bins and recycling blowing about everywhere. At least I have enough sherry to last the night.

Damn - it's snowing heavily now and has been settling.
My car is already a white blob and the landscape is white.
Tomorrow morning is going to be fun.

Two scrapers, too.

No power at work. Whoopee!! Might get it back noon tomorrow. Boo! Hiss!
I was out in it when it started on Friday night. Working outside in all weathers isn't so hot in the wintertime.

Listening to pepople talking on the news about being without hot water, not being able to cook, etc. reminds me why Jeanette always insisted on having a gas cooker.
