We have all sorts of delivery people here
I have spotted the same driver delivering for different companies Evri use people that are used by other companies.
Madam found a box lobbed over the gate we don't use. Been there a day or more, rained on. Amazon This idiot had driven past the open gate, with a sign, to go to the closed gate and lobbed it over without opening the gate Almost defies belief

Well, that's the end of Prime being a prime service.

Thanks, Jules. I was afraid I was going to be the bearer of that particular piece of bad news.

How long do we give them before they lose the contract?
I'm staggered that Amazon have gone with them, I thought from a business POV they got most things right ...

This is new, to me at least... The " security" aspect pales a little because this was in an email I opened on my PC, so of course, to make sure I get the password correct when it's requested by the driver the first thing I did was write it down. I suppose they expected me to do everything on my phone, like the young people (and Martin) do these days.

Isn't a patriot travelling a little fast for you to give it the password....?

Brilliant security. The Amazon courier arrived and asked the question. I recited the six-digit code from my piece of paper. He prodded his handset a couple of times, looked a bit lost, and then asked me for my piece of paper so he could read the numbers and key them in.

DX Edinburgh!! Item paid for on Thurs 25th for next day delivery, shop didn't send out until Monday 29th for Tuesday delivery, no explanation as to why when I spoke to them. Now DX have had it on the van 3 times and then put back into their storage!!! Todays tracking info doesn't look promising either as it doesn't look like it's out for delivery today although it says 'booked' which means bugger all, I'm pretty sure they're trying to force me to collect and it's a 90 minute round trip to the depot. F*****g arseholes. DO NOT BUY from a company called Networld Sports, I did some digging and latest Amazon reviews are terrible with exactly the same issue I'm having. They've stopped replying to my emails. Recent reviews for DX, oh dear uk.trustpilot.com/review/dx.com?sort=recencyAbsolutely appalling service.

I emailed the CEO of DX earlier today and I've had a reply, lets see if he can get it delivered 😉

My passworded Amazon delivery went without a hitch today - obviously Evri weren't involved!

Well my DX parcel is on the van. I'm expecting it to be lost or damaged in transit as payback for getting their asses kicked by the Regional Director who my email was eventually passed to. Or am I being too cynical?

It happened, my latest Amazon purchase was delivered by eVri. Not only did they deliver it early (OK so it was 24 hours early...) but it all arrived intact which, considering it was six side plates and six new coffee mugs, was pretty amazing. It also arrived within the two-hour window they quoted, and, as per their new system, they gave me the driver's name too, which was "Graham" and he's been with them for eight months. Graham had a distinctly Eastern European accent, and sounded like more of a Gracjan than a Graham perhaps. He had, what I assume, was a trainee with him, and she photographed while he handed off the parcel. She was absolutely gorgeous, and I mean stunningly beautiful, and that's not something I say lightly. I hope she gets Graham's route in future.
