Going to test drive a BRZ tomorrow. There are only two white 2017 cars for sale in the UK, pretty rare!

I think we should have bought an SUV or Estate of some description. Nobody tells you how much stuff you need when you have a baby, absolute madness.

My remote locking fob died a death some years ago - never replaced it due to the eye-watering cost that Honda quoted at the time ... Just recently I read that they can be repaired / refurbished, so did a bit of googleing and found a guy who will do the job for £18 and send it back to you recorded post in the cost. I took the plunge, the guy turned it round in a day and I now have the joys of remote locking again ... Fabulous. I wish I had known about it earlier of course ...

The only times I found it really difficult was when going away for a few days as baby's gear naturally took priority and you just take the essentials for yourself and no more. I'm sure it would have been easier with an estate (can't stand SUV's) but didn't want to blow the cash at the time ...

The boot size in most 4x4 models is crap. Even the really big ones like Isuzu Troopers, are way smaller than you would expect, believe it or not.

Did the deal today, CR-Z sold and BRZ bought. It drives superbly, photos later. Driving back from Plymouth.

A mantra I forget sometimes. The answers can be obvious and immediate.

And have a very good look at how much space there before you commit. SUVs are often rubbish. The Quashqi is one I know off. Has less than a Saab 9-5 saloon ! Some estates are also rubbish on space Big advantage of my Saab 9000 is the sheer size with seats up. Great motor for a bank job. Seat down - nearly 6' of loading space

Well, you've had a CRZ, now a BRZ. Did Austin make an RZ?
