Grosjean is a real grade A "tit". He thinks he's the next Ayrton Senna when in reality he'd be better off driving bumper cars. He's the "Frank Spencer" of F1 IMO. Other than that he's a helluva guy! You’re a massive fan then, Andrew

Love the guy! I think he should've been thrown out of F1 after the first few races. Lord knows he collided With enough championship contenders and infkuenced the course of the title, I reckon he deserved it. I have no time for drivers who plough into others over and over. Maldonado was another clumsy idiot we could've done without. Talk Schumacher wasn't much better either.

If it is true, it’s just Daniel bigging himself up, like they all do. The reality is that the best drivers get the the best cars, simples! He’s right though, Lewis almost certainly wouldn’t be World Champion in a Force India or Toro Rosso, but neither would any of the drivers, including Daniel.

I suggest it might be some choice clippings and sneaky editing taken from a much longer interview. It has the smell of making a story from nothing. All F1 drivers have to have self-confidence, that's a given.

Having read it, I didn't see a lot wrong with what he said. It's true that the car is the biggest factor and it's also inevitable that he would want to see a shift in favour of the driver.
Whoever sat in a Mercedes would have been fighting with his team mate for the title over the last few years, too. It was only the journalist's own words, such as "he doesn't think much of Lewis Hamilton" that made the article controversial. Typical case of making a story out of nothing as far as I'm concerned.

Isn't that what journalism is all about these days?
