After Hamilton's interest on the podium into Takuma Sato's ring for winning the Indianapolis 500, what are the chances of him giving it a go as well one day?

I would say pretty high, especially now that Alonso's given it a go.

So, can Lewis Hamilton achieve his 4th championship title at this weekends US Grand Prix?
Personally I think not, I doubt Ferrari will screw up so badly that Vettel is down in 6th or lower, but you never know.

I think Ferrari will have sorted their problems and the fight will go on.

Hamilton gets another pole at Austin. The difference to Bottas of 4 tenths is a clear indication of Hamilton's high level of driving quality in the same machinery.
The cars' changes of direction through the esses is a sight worth seeing. Incredible reactions and grip.

Bottas commented a few days ago that he could match and beat Hamilton over time, as he is slowly getting the hang of how Lewis does things with his car. I don't know what world Bottas lives in, but he obviously has not been paying attention to his own drop in form. More intriguing is the comment from Ricciardo that he would love to partner Lewis in Mercedes. That would definitely be an excellent line up if it ever materialized.

Yes, Ricciardo deserves better than being treated as No.2 to Verstappen.
What about Sainz qualifying 7th in his new Renault? Bloody impressive for his debut drive.

A very important win there for Hamilton, but Vettel getting second keeps the championship alive. Verstappen unlucky to lose third but took it well, considering the awkward moment in the cool-down room where four drivers don't all fit!
Loved Sainz overtaking Perez where Renault versus Mercedes power is getting ever closer.

Great win for Lewis Hamilton, just a few points away from his 4th World Championship and very well deserved it will be too!

I was thinking he could become the next Lewis Hamilton, although I don't think he has the correct build, hehe

Well done Lewis - top man, 4 time F1 World Champion, joins a very elite club and it isnt over yet.
Pity about the shunt but thats F1, always happens. Shame it denied him a podium today - Doubt he'll care though, it's job done !

Yes, a very well deserved (possibly the most deserved) world championship.

Fine performance by Lewis this year, he deserves that championship despite what all of his doubters would say.
Interesting race yesterday, Vettel seemed to implode again at the beginning of the race.

Did you see the damage to his rear diffuser shown on Sky? No wonder he had trouble overtaking backmarkers, his aero was completely stuffed.

I did, that explained his lack of progress through the pack, but also shows how good he was driving to get by anyone.
That scuffle with Alonso was amusing, I guess he was just reminding Lewis he is still about!
