rumour going around Eddie Jordan to be announced at the third presenter That's me out, then. I have no time for the master of auto-babble.

That's good, must be worth a watch now.
Did I mention that I like EJ ?

Well I cannot stomach the man on my TV, so that makes the decision for me.

I found Mr Gor BLimey Mike Brewer on Wheeler Dealers and Auto Trader an interesting watch. WHat Ed China does fixing up cars is good and shows what can be done sensibly that looks a big very expensive job

Think they are actually trying to stop people watching the new Top Gear… it's certainly not going to be on a par with the Jeremy Clarkson version…. I like elements of Eddie Jordan but on Top Gear he will just look like a gold carat plunker!

I'm just going to treat it as a totally new motoring programme and go from there. I have watched some pretty awful car shows in my time and gone back for more; Classic Car Show anyone? That show was dire! Everything they did was dull, dull, dull! Quentin Willson has always struck me as a car guy wanna be! He comes across as a dork trying to be cool! Worst car show I've ever watched. Don't get me started on Bruno Senna...

Sometimes it pays off, sometimes not!

Sabine is in it, that's some consolation.

7 people to present a programme??
They can't be serious - I don't think they really know what they want this show to be..

Assume they will have the odd piece, not necessarily every programme. Maybe each will have a speciality
Of course with the way of TV presentation you need 2 for them to ask each other questions for the dumb viewer. And then the one to introduce so maybe 3 !

Too many presenters and 2 foreign imports. Does this suggest it is going to be report based rather than an essentially live show? There is nobody that is likely to be an adequate co presenter to Evans and he is going to dominate it - TFI Friday on wheels?

Well, I'm going to view the first showing of the new series and see how it goes.
It may well NOT be as Top Gear used to be, but possibly still enjoyable.

I will give it a fair chance.
EJ may be a Gob Sh*te but he was a very good driver when he was a bit younger.

As soon as I spotted Chris Harris on the presenter roster I shifted my position and have decided to give it a chance. My prediction is that the first series with this new line up will be a bit hit or miss and as a result the BBC will end up paring down the cast to just three presenters for subsequent series (Matt, ChrisH and Sabine).

No comments yet ?
I was still asleep this morning when I fired up the smart TV to watch new Top Gear, because I watched the "extra" version.
Anyway, now I'm watching Top Gear proper, will report back later.
