Many thanks thanks for the explanations to my questions. I certainly appreciate the benefit of using separate Tx's and PSU circuits for each stage in the signal circuit with the resulting sound improvement and of course, increase in power certainly brings more authority and control to the sound when listening at the same level compared with a lesser product. I like the idea of using four mono blocks to feed the speakers and may well give the A40's a trial in the future.

Chaps, I've played nice by PM and email with STILL no results. I'm now having my arse kicked from behind all over London and Suffolk because part of the loan 'deal' is that you write a user review of your experiences with the product and these user-reviews aren't being written!
All RD asks is that as part of the loan arrangement (and carriage arrangements), is that you use the item for a few days AND THEN POST YOUR COMMENTS PLEASE!
I dunno, I've been shouting from my little soap-box so hard these last few days my throat is sore. Please do as asked - ta!

If there are no reviews then it kills the thread

It just means that people will be blacklisted by RD if they don't comply with the loan scheme. Is a user-review too much to ask for a weeks loan of something you wouldn't have heard otherwise?

Id really like to hear about TIS. I can't really afford or justify one at the sort of length I would want, but that may not always be the case, so I'd be fascinated to hear anyone's thoughts

Why not try it and report back as requested? The loan scheme really is just that. if that's not a possibility for whatever reason, then Accudased should take the time to type his comments on it, as he had it this last week, as the next loanee has already agreed to do.

Id certainly report back.......people can't shut me up about hifi . My hesitation has been that I'd be tempted to buy a short length and then end up frustrated when it didn't reach a new bit of kit. I still chop and change gear quite a bit and there never seems to be any logic to the location of phono sockets on products. For that reason I usually use 1m or even 1.2 metre cables when I can. If you add me to the list, I'll just have to be patient when it comes to buying a pair that are long enough, if I can't do without them.

Trade-in scheme (at no loss if within specified period) still applies and the loan item is just that unless anyone specifically wants the one they've tried.

May I reinforce that the least a borrower of equipment could do is write about their experience, good or bad. Thank you.
Please also check your PMs!

It's currently with an HFS member (he's only just received it) and I think there's one after him - I haven't got my list to hand this minute, but will check and report..

Yes please. I'm in no rush and genuinely happy to wait until last if anyone else wants it. I've loved all the NVA interconnects I've had over the years so I'm sure it will be fab.
Edit. I will definitely write up my findings too, whatever the outcome. It's not a lot to ask and I enjoy sharing my experiences anyway.

I'll put you on the TIS list and post an update tomorrow when at 'work.'

24 hours gone by and still no write-ups.
[edit] I've asked Steve to expand his BMU comments earlier on the BMU thread and post them here.
Anyway, here's as near an up-to-date list as I can do.
BMU - I believe it should be with Greg still, or on the way to 'Alaska.' Then on to 'Antonio66.'
Cubettes - With 'Ronin' along with speaker cables.
TIS - With 'Walterwhite', then on to Antonio66 and then Singularity.
PLEASE CHAPS - A user 'review' is PART OF THE DEAL!!! I'm strictly forbidden to pass any comment about the products at all other than the absolute basics - this from RD not just the mods here, so help me out PLEASE?

It (the loan one) needed to be put together I understand, but will chase up and report.

Each Phono head unit is now left 'clear' for loading and gain resistors to be easily added before final test and despatch. Much better than having to remove the board to replace components as before.

Not wanting to stir things up but how many reviews are we waiting for here, and do we know why they are not coming through.

Steve has promised to expand on his original comments and put them here and Greg has also promised to add his thoughts here later this week.
RD is still unable to post here, so I have to deal with both barrels from all directions

Dave, should the TIS cable have done the rounds and gone back to base, I wouldn't mind borrowing it again to write some more about it and decide if I'm going to buy one. I'll leave that with you to think about.
