The difference about a live concert and a hifi session at home.... At home I usually have a large drink of some sort, right now a whiskey, I'm in a leather lazyboy, and all I have to do is roll into bed when done

Snap
One of the benefits of staying in to listen to music
and watch a film
and have a meal
and all sorts
Difficult to take 6 dogs to a lot of places too

I was once asked why spend money on an audio system rather than going to live concerts? Well, you get to listen to Jaquline du Pre, Karajan and great recordings from the 50s and 60s (and earlier) from long dead conductors, orchestras, singers, soloists. And yes we go to live music too.

And pause them while you go to the loo

For me the reason for having a good system is simple I just love music

I like making things, and as a result my music sounds better.
