One thing about Button that I greatly admire is his driving style. Very smooth with his inputs, I love the way he sets a steering angle and holds it right through the corner. That's steering precision and, of course, minimises his chances of the car breaking away through sudden input corrections.
I try to emulate his style in my roadcraft, it's fun to do on fast twisty country roads. I have one fiftieth of his skills, but there's no harm in setting a high target.

As iff.
"“Mercedes have gone to the stewards asking for clarification on the rules regarding restrictions on research and development to do with aerodynamics. It sounds quite dry, but it’s a tense and emotive subject among the teams and it relates to the relationship between Ferrari and the US-based Haas team which is entering F1 next year.
"There has been discontent all year about this, because Haas have been using the Ferrari wind tunnel to develop their car. Ferrari’s rivals believing the Italian team has been using the relationship to get around the restrictions on wind-tunnel usage by developing their own car when they claim Haas are using the tunnel. Mercedes have formally asked for clarity on what is allowed and a verdict is due some time this weekend.”

Oh such a true statement - Ferrari have it there way always!
Mercedes do look a little pathetic at the moment though, they really don't want anyone to have a chance of either catching them up or beating them… guess that is racing but seems a little off to be fair.

I really thought Hamilton had Qualy today but Rosberg prevailed - he's really starting to show some form now, a bit late but nevertheless welcome.

Makes sense to me that Mercedes would want clarification of the rules and restrictions around research and development regarding aerodynamics in relation to the whole Hass wind tunnel thing. Ferrari would have likely done the same if the shoe was on the other foot. You dont get to the top or stay there by letting others gain even the slightest of advantages and most definitely when it comes to F1. This response sends the right message out to your competitors ie: you're awake and aware, dont even ever think of trying it !

Hams said somethings changed with regards to how the car feels and he's trying to get to the bottom of that. I for one believe him and that when he's comfortable again he'll find that gnats needed to be back on top again. Rosbergs very comfortable with how his car feels but he wont be when Hams comfy in his again, trust me

Oh, I think things change when it's race time. Hammy is a far better out and out racer than Rosberg and has proven himself to drive at a different level.

That said Ham knows he needs to get back to nailing poles. One, to stop Rosbergs momentum of pole wins and two because pole can more or less be a key factor towards securing the win. I'm thinking dirty air and those tracks where it's almost impossible to pass. In a closer / tighter season Ham knows he'll really need those poles.

Agree with both points, although I think some of it is Hamilton has eased off a little since winning the WDC. Next year will be interesting if Rosberg can keep this momentum and Ferrari are closer challengers, we might have a decent championship on our hands.
Still personally can't see Rosberg winning the championship, as Martin says, Lewis has shown over and over again he's a better racer.
