After some struggle, I have the P10 regenerator on four Black Ravioli, matching the others under key components in the system. This wasn't easy due to its 33kg and the difficultly of moving the bugger with the tips of my fingers. It's not quite level on four feet, rocking slightly. However, I am assured that the BRs will settle and the P10's weight and will end up sitting evenly on all four. This is key to how they work, requiring contact with the flat underside of the component. Update: the P10 never quite settled evenly on the four BRs, so I cheated and put a £2 coin under the foot in question. Now the P10 doesn't rock at all, but it really rocks!! Sound quality improvement is in keeping with the other components using BR feet, these marvellous blocks really getting the most out of the regenerator. If only all upgrades only cost £2 !

Not sure I have the equipment to measure it properly. I know that, on a dry day, I can pour a kettle of water onto the head of the spike and it helps the SQ. Which has a better impact on the SQ - still or sparkling

Enjoyed it but thought Yentob's questioning was dull and did not really help us get to know Gilmour better. DG is a top man - he once gave a house worth £3.2m to my favourite charity Shelter.

I have also tried them again and still don't get it. As someone else wrote recently " Always preferred the concept of the Grateful Dead to the sound of them. I tried their albums over the years and could never get past the bloodless voices and the lack of whomp in the rhythm section. "You have to see them live," said people. I did that a few times but always felt like an unbeliever at a revival meeting. " Sorry...

Jennifer Warnes - Famous Blue Rain Coat - 180g LP First time in 30 years, a 33rpm 180gm Vinyl Newly remastered by Bernie Grundman on his all-tube cutting system. For those that missed the sublime 3x45rpm box set a hi-fi show favourite, and for me one of the most over-rated albums ever...dreary as hell IMHO.

Enjoyed this week's show ... and enjoyed the rather wacky Caravan Palace. Thought Caravan Palace were great - brilliant to see an act that were really enjoying themselves in an age when all musicians want to look so serious/tortured !
