I recorded it (David Gilmour - Wider Horizons) when it was broadcast on Friday and finally made time to watch it this evening. Excellent program. Expect bootlegs of Gilmour playing the theme to Postman Pat very soon. It's on iPlayer for the next few weeks if you missed it.

Oh, I missed that and didn't spot that it even existed, so thanks for pointing it out.

It was an excellent documentary and Polly turned out to be a rather wonderful person, too. Both eloquent, although I loved her claim that he prefers to communicate through his music. As we know, he does that rather well.

Enjoyed it but thought Yentob's questioning was dull and did not really help us get to know Gilmour better. DG is a top man - he once gave a house worth £3.2m to my favourite charity Shelter.

Missed it due to a clash. Usually these pop up again quite soon Forgot about iPlayer so will pick it up there in case there are no repeats - thanks
