Sadly under-rated album IMHO......

Tracey Thorn's marvellous best of double cd compilation. A real variety of musical styles and some very interesting collaborations. Can't think of another artist apart from maybe Elvis Costello who has maintained such a high standard over such a long period while varying the style of music so much. Recommended.

Happen to be playing the first self-titled album by Rickie Lee Jones as I came across this thread again. A stunning album, with a wide variety of songs, sung wonderfully and a production to die for. The players are also sublime - the drummers for example, are Jeff Pocaro, Andy Newmark, and Steve Gadd!

It certainly is a very male based passion I don't know what you mean...I must have seen at least 4 people at Whittlebury this year without beards!!

Also, now that I finally have a headphone socket, I'll be looking to add a pair of headphones, my main option at the moment being the Audioquest Nighthawks. I can't afford the Oppo PM1 which is my favourite headphone at the moment. I'll pop on some photos when I can. Have you tried any headphones with the new system yet ?

Box 8 Caravan In the Land of Grey and Pink 9 ITLOGAP is a definite 10 for me - one of the true prog rock classics, especially side 2. Magic !

Doesn't look like Greece to me. I see no illegal immigrants embarking from sinking boats. Is this meant to be funny ?

anybody heard or bought the new James Taylor Album "Before This World" ?? Beautifully played and produced but far from his best song-wise for me. No where near the brilliance of Hourglass or October Road

Easily their second best album after "Next". Great cover, and true concept album and a bunch of great songs. Entwistle's finest hour too. Essential listening.
