I will be following this with interest as I need a shelf to keep my turntable out of the reach of little fingers.

I actually have a Aptitlig sat under my TD124 at present, seems to be doing a good job ☺️ Thanks Martin, it should be even better in a week or so when I add the Alphason HR100 MCS, which I've just purchased from Oliver.

That's possible, I could take a network cable from the hub in the kitchen to a nano station by the window. I'll investigate - thanks! We've used the ubiquity kit for all sorts at work and it's very reliable stuff and cheap considering the bandwidth. Good luck

Ubiquity do some really great 5gig links. Something like a pair of nano stations would work great if you have Line of sight to the Annex. but you still need to be able to get a network cable to the right location in the main house.

Just finished seeing a Mark Knopfler at the Arena (was Phones4u, MEN or Nynex, depending on your age) in Manchester. He was superb. A good mix of new and older (ie dire straits) songs. Thoroughly enjoyable. To be honest, I enjoyed the 5, or 6 Straits songs most of all, especially Telegraph Road. Well worth the money. Saw him in Dublin on Friday night. Brilliant gig. Got the impression the band were having a good jam between songs and great to see Ruth Moody there for a few songs

Hah.....or Mick Fleetwood! Ten more. These ones come alternately from the world of Jazz and the Planet Zappa: Art Blakey Terry Bozzio Billy Cobham Vinnie Colaiuta Max Roach Chad Wackerman Buddy Rich Aynsley Dunbar Elvin Jones Chester Thompson Saw Vinnie Colaiuta the other night at a Sting and Paul Simon gig. He put Paul Simon's drummer to shame.
