Thanks Paul. Haven't seen that particular Dave Berry video with Big Jim before. I always thought it was an intriguing listen with Dave B's vocals and Big Jim's guitar.

Well yes, music has always been seen as disposable and having a short shelf life, but being digitised seems to have ramped that up. It's just another commodity for many now and just doesn't appear to have the relevance to many that it once had, having to complete with other entertainment forms.

The original mix dubbed onto a live version. Best sound I could find. But no M.O.:

Has All The "Classic" Music, Been Made?
In 10... 20... years and more, will any of today's or that of the last 10 or 20 years music be viewed as being "Classic"?
I just don't see it, myself.

Forget about how long has the US Government had a crash retrieval programme for collecting downed non-human craft?...
What's For Tea?
Toasted muffins and some tasty Apple and Blackcurrant Crumble Cakke, for me. Might force an Almond Finger down... Washed down with a mug of me Yorkshire's Toast and Jam Tea. Oh yes...

The greatest story ever to hit mankind with practically little to no coverage from mainstream media. But then again, even if it was covered, the typical response would probably be... "What's for tea?", or similar. But I digress...
Anyway...

Have you guys already watched this? I've seen it many times it's Joe rogan interviewing Bob Lazar about his time working near area 51 back in the 80's. I don't even care about the "are aliens real?" aspect of the interview because I think the truth will always be concealed from me anyway. But some of the things they discuss here are fascinating especially everything they talk about regarding gravity. * we cannot produce gravity we can only observe it as a byproduct of mass. * what Bob claims they worked on in the desert was a machine that creates a gravitational field. * if someone were able to create gravity they'd be unstoppable. You can create an envelope of anti gravity that is impenetrable around any craft. *a ship with an anti-gravity field around it is temporarily separated from the physical world. It does not experience inertia. It is not moving from point A to B across a space it is falling from point A to B through time. UFOs (UAPs) ARE REAL! People can bury their heads in the sand - but it doesn't make them go away. Another hard to dismiss interview with Ross Coulthart:

If I had £600 to squander, it might go on one of these, Martin. Available on eBay.

Not a tweak for sound improvement. One for the visuals.
A few days ago I received a Meridian MCD PRO. The Nextel coating was intact with just the odd spot missing, but it looked tired and stained here and there. Looked for treatment ideas and cleaning with soap and water with a sponge was one suggestion as was using white spirit and whisky being another.
Tried the soap and water which didn't really help and when dried, dark areas round the buttons formed. Thought I'd try something else.
Quite a fan of silicone car dash pads for various polishing duties. Tried that and the stains and dark patches disappeared leaving a uniform dark satin finish, like new appearance. Really pleased.

I heard a reading from him on Radio 4 a few weeks ago. Thought he didn't sound his usual self, which seemed unusual.

Thanks Paul. Didn't have time to look for anything in particular. Heard it on the news and was having to go out. Didn't know he was living in Naples. Disappointing the way he was "let go of" by Paul McCartney.

Probably my favourite TV Themes album. And this track is probably my favourite, and finally uploaded to YouTube, and sounding pretty good. Personal Cinema was Granada TV's version of BBC's Film... with Barry Norman, and presented by Parky, before getting his own show:

All 29 episodes are there and all 4 seasons. Each season got a different composer to arrange the theme; I like Season 3's the best. Not sure if it's Hugo Montenegro or not.

I have to use a VPN to access it.
Doubt you'll be a Eurovision fan, Paul, I'm not really, but I downloaded 1972 fom Edinburgh with Vicky Leandross winning. The picture and sound quality is the best I've found. Not sure if it was all uploaded by a TV station. Should have another look.
