Clive I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Source, I know nothing about it ...

I still have my BRIDGE though I'm currently trialling the much more expensive SOURCE streamer/dac/preamp. Depending on my progress I might be selling the BRIDGE. I'd be interested if you decide to part with it. I see you have a Qutest. Is it connected to the Bridge? If so, how did you connect the Chord to the Bridge, and with which brand of cable? I'm leaning toward RCA/BNC. I ask because I'm also looking for a Qutest.

I use a Belden based coax with BNCs and adapters. I’ve had the cable for years. If I keep the Source I need to decide what to do with Bridge and Qutest, I have multiple systems so I’ve not decided what I’d do yet.

Do report back Certainly worth adding a better power supply to the DAC

Do report back Certainly worth adding a better power supply to the DAC Funny you say that...it's something I've been thinking about though I don't know a lot about PSUs. If you have any recommendations/experiences, I'd be interesting in hearing about them.

Kirk, my preference is for good power supplies on both the Bridge and Qutest. I'd start with the Qutest first - though as they both take 5V you can try the PS on each in turn. I've used supercap power supplies from Temple Audio to great effect but any decent linear PS or a very well designed smps will work.

How did the supercap improve the SQ of the Qutest?

How did the supercap improve the SQ of the Qutest? Fuller, richer though if you want a sound that comes across as more detailed then the std ps does this. It isn't more detailed, just leaner and apparently faster perhaps but over time, not much time, I prefer the fuller sound.

Thanks to Jules I got another Limetree Network Bridge from Ebay The app now intergrates better and a nice step up from Volumio Looking back my issue was having to use BT 4.2 to get Spotify as this was not intergrated at the time It's certainly performs better than the Tinkerboard but so it should The Tinkerboard is crazy value but I think what would would be good is for someone to develop a audio board that could be sold for DIY builds I think that would be the next step in cheap builds Anyway now use the Limetree for Spotify and files and BT 5 for YouTube
