Hehe. I'm amazed how well the thick black underseal covers the white aluminium oxide. Sort of soaks in and covers it. It drys with little tack but it never goes hard and brittle to flake off.. Never occurred to me ally could be saved As long as it's black 🤠

I sooner they used coal short term to allow the infrastructure to be done, and thus make long term gas and oil cuts, hopefully to carbon neutral and beyond at somepoint - main point stuffing war mongering, war crime Putin and his fossil economy.
His war night be the thing that catalyzes the move to carbon neutral in the short term, more than the threat of climate armageddon.

Learned their lessons well from Big tobacco denying lung cancer and all the rest. Employed some of the same people. Same job, different industry I guess the tobacco industry learned it from the lead sulphate sweetener in Georgian Cider and perhaps the luminous watch dial producers, who's workers painted radio active paint on dials - mouth and throat cancer as they formed the brushed suitably fine in their mouths.. Nothing to see here...

Here's the result of the wirebrushed in-situ / Dinitrol treated lantern.

Leave it bare aluminum and live with it. Least effort and harm to the planet. If the idiot manufacturers did that from the beginning instead of powdercoat, life would indeed be easy. As it was they looked cack. Now they look nice.

Looks great. Did they get hot then?
Plastdip = as hard work as paint and not sure that would stick well to bare / aluminium oxide. One nick and the whole lot would be off in a few years, or perhaps swell up like a rubbery plasticy balloon around the corroding aluminium oxide powder, that was once the lantern🙂
I went for something that did not need removal of the lanterns, a quick wirebrushing / scrape of all lose powdercoat and super quick to brush on hit...!? Did all the remaining lanterns in an hour or so.

Back on the powdercoat dislike, and what to do about it. We have 5 quality outdoor lanterns at the front of the house. 5 at the rear, and two cheaper ones at the side. We priced them 7 years ago when we bought the house. £65 each - ouch! Not B&Q cheapies. They are cast aluminium, black powdercoated. Look nice when new (doesn't everything?🙂). Aluminium corrodes to white aluminium oxide and this forms a protective layer that pretty much won't corrode further, as long as the oxide layer is undisturbed. Once the corrosion gets under the powdercoat, be it from a chip of imperfection or not adhering properly or edge, it quickly spreads causing the plastic like thin powdercoat layer to flake. Here are some stills to illustrate Last year I removed 2 of the lanterns and wirebrushed and sand blasted them to remove as much of the powdercoat as possible. The problem is that where it's still adhering, it's a devil of a job to remove. Some of the nooks and crannies were impossible. I spray painted an aluminium etch primer base coat and satin black finishing coats. Took ages, used up lots of paint.. Looked like new! I refitted and after a year sitting in the elements, there are some signs of corrosion again. Give them 6 or 7 years.. This year, the remaining bunch look pretty sorry for themselves. There had to be a better faster way..

Or pay what was the going rate before the profiteering? How does this go viral and happen? I would get behind something like this if it happens. Bankrupt ths bastards and hope for the best. I can't be the first to think of this. I asked daughter and boyfriend, there is something happened on social media already.. If it gains proper momentum, it could be an interesting ride.

Somebody should start a movement to stop paying energy bills on mass and see what happens. I've lots ov people did it then it could have a positive effect. You go first. Or pay what was the going rate before the profiteering? How does this go viral and happen?

Amazon prime are serving up fewer ATP tournaments this year 😒
Several / many 250 and 500 level ones are missing from the calendar.
They are covering pretty much all the WTA.
I just re-subbed to TennisTV after over a year away.
Updated app. Smooth HQ casting to big TV. Working well.
Like Amazon it's the match replay feature that's a class apart from Eurosport and BBC (😒 on the latter).
I'm now watching Sinner, with Alcaraz, Brooksby, Musetti, Rune all to come. Plugging away on European clay.
American Hardcourt swing is just around the corner.

My mate worried he couldn't get in touch on Whatsapp Puzzled "No Network connection" Turn off and on - first port of call Same The boss gives me tech advice - check Settings Wifi is off I did not disconnect it One more thing to check on a regular basis Anyone get similar on Android ? No!🙂 I've only ever had dodgy wifi connection with Windows / laptops. The quite slow Troubleshooting and fix problems procedure always resolves it. This is after the laptop is awoken from sleep. I've even replaced the wifi adapter HW..

Somebody feed Phil (Netflix) is interesting - sort of drama Trying to like The Umbrella Academy. First episode was rather childish. 2nd episode less so. Perhaps it's winning us over! Sort of at a low tide of things to watch at the moment - usual summer TV blues I guess.

Those 275 for 0% are silly.
Maybe for Elephant beer or Barley wine!😀
I find Becks 0% a bit, too... I don't know lacking something.
I've had the big Sainte Etienne before but for some reason this evening, I gelled with it?! Could be that Aldi were sold out of every other 0%🙂

Sofi is German, Tukker (the dude) is - not sure. Together they form the duo Sofi Tukker. They live in US but she feels more Brazilian?! Upbringing or? Some songs are in Portuguese. Most are in English. She has an amazingly clear voice.
