I'd like some suggestions for killer bass tracks - just for fun. I'm not talking about thumping mid-bass of the type included in much dance music. I mean gut-wrenching, floor-shaking subterranean earthquake bass that moves air in ways only the biggest speakers can manage. Here are some examples: Yello - Takla Makan, true floor shaking vibes throughout Sting - A Thousand Years, some more room shaking vibes here Massive Attack - Angel, this one is more about very deep synth bass texture Michael Murray - Widor Symphony No. 6, Adagio, this one is not on streaming but is probably the deepest most powerful organ recording I've ever heard

The opening track on "The Capitol Studios Sessions" by Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. Quite a surprise!

Great thread, I’ll try those tracks.
Here’s a few mostly very deep bass tracks
This one has bass in and around 10hz
This one’s deepest notes are 5hz I believe
This isn’t deep bass but testing plucked double bass and rapid beats
This one around the 1:30 mark is sustained amp torture bass

Blue Print - 'MLK...Check!'
I can't find it online. It may not even have been released on CD, I am not sure. It was on a kind of sampler album by The Black Rock Coalition called 'The History of Our Future'.
Deeply disturbing bass sounds!

LOL - I can't test any of this until I get home. My work speakers are small Creative units that don't have bass in their vocabulary.

In order...
Jeff Goldblum - lovely live recording, no earth shattering bass but good sound
Bassotronics - no Curtain Shaker on Qobuz, but I tried Woofer Wrecker. Feck me, that's subterranean!
GoGo Penguin - I tried All Red. Great sound, not very deep bass
DJ Droppin' - I tried Bass Abuse. Stunning deep bass, pure tones rather than textures. Moonscape is good
Cornered - Senking. The bass is really interesting and textured, I like it!
Adam Ben Ezra - Can't Stop Running - just plucked double bass, doesn't really qualify
George Duke - The Black Messiah - ditto, great but doesn't qualify
King Tubby - Zion Gate Dub, potent mid bass but no tectonic movements
Portishead - It Could be Sweet, nearly there, the walls almost noticed!

Mahler - Symphony No 8, Tennstedt, I know where to go with this one, the finale with that sustained pedal note. The Solti is far better.
Inception - Time, it's subtle but this does have some serious air movements, very good!
Rhythm & Sound - Mango Drive. It wins through potency rather than extension, but my walls are shaking!
Leftfield - Dusted, not much deep bass here
Yheti - Crack the Window, oh yes, this will given a chance, great stuff!
Nitin Sawnhey - Letting Go, yes I know this well and the whole album has some stunning deep bass
Yello - Junior B, yep they do deep bass in spades. The masters of musically interesting synth bass
Peter Gabriel - Digging in the Dirt, not bad but there is better bass in Rhythm of the Heat
