Are we missing a trick (kit) ?
Last time I ran from laptop via Bluetooth into TAD DAC/Pre
That misses a lot of boxes and cables on the current set up
Is there a way of running from the router through the ER and Rendu with the associated cables ?

Oh, I see, you're using the laptop as source for Bluetooth.
Sure, copy the file to Google Drive (you will have a Google account already as you're an Android user). Then setup Google Drive as another source in Bubble and play your files through the exact same chain as streaming.
I do this for my ripped CD files that don't exist on streaming.

I find that my rips in Google Drive sound pretty damn good, it's a good way to store just the few CDs I want to play in the same way.
I'm going to move this to your blog.

System sounds excellent with great albums becoming greater Hard to believe the music could sound so good

Dangerous dusting
Carefully dusting and tidying up around the system while streaming Music stops Look around to see what I might have done. The most would be a small, gentle movement of a box
All lights on Various actions, out of Bubble, reboot tablet, reboot Rendu No music
Router working fine
All else off Check all cable connections - solid Clock on first ER then Rendu next
No music
Turn off, leave overnight
Try again today Rendu back light red
No music Reboot everything again
Rendu back light red for a very long time
Lunch time
Music is back
Wonder what that was all about

Thankfully I had new for old insurance, the Syrinx was no longer made with no spares available. Len wrote a report, as a Hadcock GH242 Silver that he used to develop his own cartridges, was considerably less than the alternative. Len made me the 1 mm per conductor pure silver phono leads constituting a GH242 Silver plus that I use to this day the only addition an XTC counterweight. How many times has someone posted about a bent cantilever or other maladie caused like me when dusting a turntable, however Mike Music this may well be a digital first.

I did that many years ago while dusting my turntable. I thought I was being careful and... what? I had taken the cantilever clean off my Ortofon MC10 cartridge.
My solution was to use it to upgrade to an MC20, which they did no matter the state of the trade-in.
That rather lovely MC20 lasted me a long time.

Could this only happen to me ?
Digging the cool sounds of Tarwater last night Then all off. Damn power cut and too dark to do much
Into kitchen diner to find madam and the lights on - uh ?
Not a power cut. Only my circuit is off.
Today. Leave off the streamer items Mid morning all off again Not the streamer items then
All filters and the like off one side of the room - and wait ...

Assume something is intermittently faulty In the system, an accessory or other, maybe even the one circuit breaker
Will unplug a few things at a time and see what happens Still working mid afternoon....

I am so aware of being able to hear how some recordings are constructed. Listening to a superb early Simply Red track, Holding Back The Years, you can hear the different instruments played in different acoustics, with the guitar in the opening being very prominent and, later, the voice. The layering is so much clearer.
More insight bringing me closer to the master tape.

Twiddling around the edges. How much difference can that make ? Following MartinT I ordered a Sapphire cable to go between the JS-2 power supply (currently supplying power to the EtherRegen) and the TP Link router. Useful having 2 outputs on the JS-2 Router currently powered by the ZeroZone Bringing the streaming back on yesterday I left it for a day to settle before the swap Ciaccona from Christina Pluhar's All'Improvviso (wonderful) Sounded fantastic. Last time I played it was before running Tara Labs for 100 hours. No surprise there. JS-2, Router and EtherRegen off Check and double check Cable into place JS-2 All on with the JS-2 Patience while everything remembers who does what and back Not subtle Detail, width, more real, smoother flow, even easier on the ear Twas already fantastic, now even better The equivalent of another JS-2 free of charge
