The odd thing to me is those who are still around. I'm glad they are
Who would have put money on Joe Walsh outlasting Frey ?!

R.I.P. Colin Vearncombe. You might not know the name but he's the bloke singing on this 1987 hit. Grauniad Obit

Gosh. Grace Slick looks like an old grandma these days, too.

Yes, you're right. I forget how old she is. She was in a documentary recently and I was shocked.

Viola Beach. We'll never know how good they might have been, but too young to die for sure.

I've just learnt that Roy Allison died last week. Gosh - he was involved in some really genuinely ground breaking stuff that is nowadays standard issue in hi-fi. There's a really nice tribute to him by Tom Tyson, here on the Classic Speaker Pages

R.I.P. George. "A legend in his own lifetime" is a much misused phrase, but I genuinely think it applies to George Martin.

Nice chap, well spoken, great memories of meeting The Beatles for the first time. I'm sure Paul and Ringo are quite sad, only two of them left now.

The recent programme will be repeated soon I'm sure. BBC4 think it was, may come on BBC1 or 2
A good watch, reinforcing what a nice, honest guy he was
