I just saw that last night. Legend indeed, with so many milestones in her career. I think she leaves the Private Dancer album as the best, if not only, pinnacle plus other earlier crackers such as Nutbush City Limits and River Deep, Mountain High. RIP, Tina.  |

She was mega. I saw her on her Private Dancer tour in Aberdeen when I was working up at BP Dyce managing the helicopter ATC systems. Bryan Adams played too.

RIP Tony (T.S.) McPhee. I was, ...still am, a big Groundhogs fan, but Tony released some great solo stuff too and was a terrific acoustic player as well as an electric guitarist. He also released a couple of classic blues albums with the late, great Jo-Ann Kelly, who was no mean guitarist herself. OBIT |

I met Tony Bennett several times in the sixties while working in a theater in the round. One of the nicest, most genuine persons I've ever come across.
