They were obviously having a bad press day!
Such a shame about Tom Petty, I was a real fan of his music and he always seemed such a good guy whenever i saw interviews.
I will listen to his superb album 'Into The Great Wide Open' in tribute to him.

Sad. A lovely guy. Runnin' Down a Dreamis a great film. Could well be on TV again soon if not get hold of it I still have it on my Tivo and have watched it 2-3 times. Shows him as the really nice guy you thought he was

One of those guys you don't have to think twice about describing as a legend. It's the second time he's "died" too. Someone spray painted "R.I.P. Fats. You will be missed" on the side of his house after hurricane Katrina and it got picked up by the news services. For anyone (like me) who is feeling their age, Blueberry Hill was released 61 years ago last month. It was a regular in our setlist. R.I.P. Fats.

Very sad to hear that AC/DC's Malcolm Young has passed away ... Only 64 but left behind a great rock n roll legacy. www.facebook.com/acdc/

Very sad, and very young. I knew he was suffering from dementia. The "other" brother George Young, the Easybeats guitarist and AC/DC's longtime producer, passed away in October at the age of 70 so that just leaves Angus.
