Sadden to hear of the death of Peter Sarstedt at 75. He was the brother of Eden Kane who had a number of hits in the '60s and also Robin Sarstedt who had a hit (My Resistance Is Low) or two in the '70s.

Peter Sarstedt was definitely a part of my early musical/songwriting education.

Billy Franks.
I have just read that he died a few weeks back. Most folk here probably won't have heard of him, but he was the singer and songwriter of a long gone band called The Faith Brothers.
He just wrote great songs.
Easter Parade is a post Falklands anti-war song and is right there alongside Shipbuilding in my opinion.
