Thanks, Tim. I am definitely going to see it, end of an era and it's been a great saga (apart from 1, 2 & 3).
I'm right with you about Marvel, all of which I can gladly ignore.

Episodes 1, 2 & 3 . . . hmmm, ' the better less said, it is'
The Phantom Menace, now that's what I would call a bad film, still probably wouldn't rate it 1/10, but it'd be mighty close!
It's nice to see the IMDB rating levelling out somewhat after all the geeky nerds calling it a travesty during the early hours of Thursday morning, they really are a sad bunch who seem to live and breath it, and when it doesn't go how they like, they slam it. FFS, it's a film, it's entertainment, not the death of your grandmother!
This is totally mental too . . . if you have an Amazon Echo, ask it - "Alexa, what is the worst Star Wars movie?"
Funny as you like
I don't dislike the Marvel films, just don't find them as entertaining as the SW saga.

Probably too late now, so look out for it on whatever media service you use, but Motherless Brooklyn is one of my films of the year.
Edward Norton directed and wrote the screenplay from a book of the same name. I've read the book and he has, I think, made a better job of a very intriguing story. Outstanding performances from all and the soundtrack is really superb - if youre a Miles Davis jazz era fan, you'll love it and Thom Yorke wrote some of the music.
I can't fault it and whilst I don't have many films with a perfect score, it gets a 9/10 from me. It's a very classy film.

Starman One of my favourites of all time Thought Jeff Bridges played the part brilliantly. Love it when he was asked if he knew how to drive.

I made the mistake of trying 6 Underground as the premise read well.
Just one small problem: it's a Michael Bay film. I hadn't realised. Only 12 minutes of my life wasted.

The Critics' consensus on Rotten Tomatoes reads... " 6 Underground is loud, frenetic, and finally preposterous -- which is either bad news or a hearty recommendation, depending how one feels about the movies of Michael Bay."

I'd never heard of 6 Underground until reading this . . . . think I'll be giving it a miss!
Cats the movie is really getting slammed too, Rolling Stone says it's arguably the worst film of the decade and The Telegraph gave it Zero stars, first time they've ever done that apparently.
Loved this review by a film critic I follow;
I might just give it a go to see what the worst movie of the decade looks like, bet I walk out! On my Cineworld app at 6.14pm last night, there were only four seats reserved for the 6.40pm show in Cardiff. Star Wars is the big draw right now, so that's making it tough for other films.

I love the quote about Dante having a tenth layer of hell added in if he saw this film

I saw Cats the show (don't ask) and I still haven't fully recovered 30 years later.

I want to see Cats. I think it would be, as we old hippies are wont to say, a trip, man. Well I'm definitely going to see it after reading a few more reviews, I want to see what folk are calling the worst film ever - I mean you have to, don't you? Unfortunately though, Universal have taken the unprecedented step of withdrawing the version released on Friday, and replacing it with an updated version that theatres have been downloading from this morning, for release tomorrow. The studio is asking that theatres replace the current print of Cats as soon as possible.
Apparently this has never happened to a movie before whilst still in the middle of it's first theatrical run. I wonder which bits they are changing?

Ok rarely do go this far with films but, CATS redefines the the terms of plumbing the depths of utter dross of the first order, the ability to bore the bollocks off a charging Rhino at 60 paces whilst instilling in the watchers of this undisilled tripe to eat their own feet to keep sane
This has to be the worst film in the last 5 years we have been to see
This film is absolutely like being forced to listen to neither musical (non) fidelity or niam while having your eyeballs being dripped with hot wax while being whipped with a wet salty slug
Save yourselves from pain and anguish even once upon a time in Hollywood is mildly better
Nothing can save this film except using an acid bath for the master copies
Universal management must be lining up a firing squad for this utter farce infact watching a venus fly trap digest it freshly caught meal is infinitely more engaging
