I didn't list Three Billboards as it's a 2017 film. Oops

I loved both Three Billboards and In Bruges. To me there is a similarity in style and dialogue.

I Tonya was the best film of last year closely followed by Three Billboards Wow, so you managed to see all the films from 2018 - good skills.

Tim, have you seen the new Mary Queen of Scots film? "Mary Queen of Scots had its world premiere on closing night of AFI Fest on 15 November 2018, was released in the United States on 7 December 2018, and is scheduled to be in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2019"
Ah, thanks for that!

IoBeautifully formed, small scale, simple storyline, nicely acted SF about the end of Earth as a habitable planet. With only two main characters the film lingers over scenes and dialogue. It helps that Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers) has real screen presence. A thought provoker that requires some suspension of disbelief but had my attention throughout. I laughed when I saw the low rating on IMDB. So many people with such short attention spans. 8/10

^The look on her sister's face when they were driving was fine acting.

I've not watched Bird Box, but I picked up the score since anything from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross is an obligatory purchase.

We watched Glass last night, not quite the usual Shyamalan fair but very good, interesting twist at the end, James McAvoy delivers a stunning performance as 24 different personalities (wonder if he posts on WW?)

I watched Kingsman last night.
Expected very little but actually found it rather entertaining in a very silly laddish kind of way.
Perfect casting of Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Samuel L. I didn't spot Mark Hamill in the film so that was a bit of surprise ...

It was exactly what it set out to be, a bit of fun at James Bond & Co's expense.
