The series that makes me laugh out loud the most is Boston Legal. Often hilarious.

So who's watching Game of Thrones, then? Last night's ep.1 was just as superb as ever. Nothing is certain, no character is safe. Its richness means that you don't want to see great characters killed off (apart from Joffrey), yet you know it's going to happen.
The best, BEST, series ever made for TV bar none.

Better than The West Wing? I haven't got around to watching GoT yet but it sounds like a no brainer.

For me, The West Wing and Battlestar Galactica (remake) come just behind it. So yes, better than them.

But...
You're missing out on the wonderful GoT conversations, such as Cersei or Daenerys. Cersei is the most wonderfully evil character you ever did see, but Daenerys has dragons. Honestly, the characterisation and story arc is so rich you can talk about them forever. Then the set-pieces, such as the red wedding. OMG!!

Saw about 5 episodes when Sky were tarting it on a Freeview channel Confess to being turned off by the violence, I can take violence, but also just didn't like it much.
Even the goodies seem evil

We're half way through the first series of "The Following" with Kevin Bacon and enjoying it thoroughly. Series 3 of Grimm has been watched, and now we have to wait until October 19th for series 4 to be released on DVD.

We're half way through the first series of "The Following" with Kevin Bacon That series has the ability to shock like few others. I found certain episodes really hard viewing, so unpleasant are some of the scenes. Gripping, though.

Series 3 of Grimm has been watched, and now we have to wait until October 19 th for series 4 to be released on DVD. Just begun watching The Following and already hooked. Of special interest to me as the lead Kevin Bacon character has Cardiomyopathy, the same condition I've been diagnosed with and a Pacemaker!
