Started watching the US version of House of Cards - just coming to the end of season one. It is brilliant - really enjoying it. Going to try and get season two done before the new one starts in a few weeks.

Better call Saul - anyone? Just completed a major binge on all seven series of superb House - what a frustrating and watchable character Hugh Laurie fashioned, musical addiction included. A turntable on every surface and a flying V on the wall We turned to Better Call Saul for a few episodes but it couldn't follow. Fargo on the other hand is a masterclass in every respect! Compare the performances of Bob Odenkirk. Will return to BCS though.

The Blacklist S3 has started as well as ever. I'm not yet sure about 12 Monkeys, will keep watching.

Person of Interest Series 3 just started Excellent as usual Yes, I watched the first one last night and definitely back to its best. I love the wonderfully deranged Root character!

I'm not very big on TV, but have seen a few of these dramas. My partner and I just started 'True Detective' at the weekend - very good on the whole, may well fill the void left by Breaking Bad, and then some! Try to catch "Better Call Saul" if you can, the prequal to BB. All about Walter White's lawyer Saul Goodman.

Yes it's on the list! I've heard some very good things about it, and it'll be nice to see more of Mike.
We just finished the new series of House of Cards at the weekend - certainly entertaining, but I found the writing a bit off in places.

Was left slightly disappointed by the new series of House of Cards, S1 and 2 were much better. Started watching Homeland - early days, really enjoying it so far.

I've just watched the first two episodes of Banshee S2 as I couldn't wait any longer. What is it about this series, it always leaves me laughing at its audacity. Brilliantly inventive twisting plots and, frankly, some of the hottest and toughest leading women of any series. Carrie, the main character, is frequently bruised and battered from fights (see below). You couldn't imagine a town with so much trouble. Sheer guilty pleasure entertainment!

Banshee is the most intense series this side of Game of Thrones. S2 is even better, several edge-of-precipice moments and some incredible action. I'm drip feeding S2 episodes on Blu-ray as I don't want to run out of my fix. Thankfully, S3 is coming

Have to disagree with you on the House of Cards, I thought the third series continued the excellent build ups and revelations of the first two series. with respect to Homeland the last series on TV I think was 4 was a complete let down for me but I'd be interested to see n your thoughts paul.

Not quite as well written as Breaking Bad, but still very enjoyable indeed

The Blacklist S3 has started as well as ever. I'm not yet sure about 12 Monkeys, will keep watching. I personally love The Blacklist even though it is pretty predictable. Interested to find the truth out about Agent Keen and Raymond Reddington. I have a view but they've never quite confirmed or denied my suspicions. Paul.

I thought Homeland S4 was excellent! Was it the last season on TV? If not I meant that one, I just thought it was weaker by quite a margin over the previous series, but each to their own

The one set in Pakistan? Loved it, edge of seat storyline.

Yep that's the one. Fair enough, but then to be honest I had a few other things going on at the time of its release on TV as you know so I was somewhat distracted.
