Tried Game of Thrones when Sky threw us a few taster episodes - a cynical marketing ploy - as they didn't say you can have a few then we take them away unless you subscribe
Person of Interest is the best for me Suits losing it's edge but still good Don't know Revolution Never got on with 24 and not even seen Mad Men
The Bridge and most of the late night BBC4 foreign jobbies are good. Montalbano is good for the Sicilian slant, back again I see soon
Homeland not for me at all - did you know it is based on an Israeli series ? Don't know the rest so assume that's Sky
Worth a mention The Mentalist but that may have lost it's way
Love Mock the week - with the constant stream of jokes. You can watch a repeat a few weeks later and still be in stitches

Never heard of most of those, after first series of game of thrones ended forgot to watch 2nd series then lost interest, my wife once interviewed Lena Heady for a job before she became famous though! All time best of recent years for me...... Spartacus Walking Dead The Originals 24 Falling Skies Supernatural Banshee a few others will come to me later their names escape me at the moment.

But those are all I watch. That's it! I only ever play back what the Sky HD box has recorded and I never watch anything live as time shifting is how I do it.
Ah damn, I couldn't quote you ("You watch too much TV dude!") as you're doing the same thing as Mike and replying inside the quote. Is it that hard?!

If we're both doing it that either says we're both daft -not possible ! or maybe something not quite right I think others will have this happen I#ll keep a close eye on it

Not drama but two documentaries that you owe it to yourself to watch if you feel that American foreign policy, like it or not, affects all of us.
The Known Unknowns - fascinating interview with Donald Rumsfeld, once Secretary of Defence, about the Gulf war, Afghanistan and the aftermath of Nixon. He is a very astute man and has the ability to describe complexity in an enlightening way.
Manhunt - the true story of the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, as portrayed dramatically in Zero Dark Thirty. Some of the case officers who tried to highlight the danger to those in charge but failed and were subsequently blamed for not sounding the alarm after 9/11 speak very frankly about their work and their struggle to be heard.

Doubt I would ever believe anything Rumsfeld ever said. I'll have to dig out the name of the documentary film on Iraq. Awful and he was about the worst
Manhunt sounds interesting

Firefly was superb and cruelly cut during its first season. If you liked Firefly, have you seen the film Serenity?

Hio Yus, superb. Have both on DVD Jos Whedon does good stuff (except Dollhouse, which was cobblers IMO)
Even Agents of Shield, a pulpy, Marvel comics sort of series was dead good

If you missed it, now well into series 2
Boss
Similarities to The Wire You don't enjoy it, but you have to watch it Frasier Crane was never so conniving and evil

Seeing the references to Firefly and Serenity reminded me of Castle, also starring Nathan Fillion. I wonder how many people got the joke when his character in Castle dressed up as his character in Firely for a fancy dress party.
