We were horribly disappointed with Castle. Tried a few episodes and gave up

my wife once interviewed Lena Heady for a job before she became famous though! Me, me, could I interview her please? I preferred her in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles but she is up there with Elizabeth Mitchell ( Lost, Revolution) as one classy woman.

She was particularly evil in the new Judge Dredd.

Uncle - BBC3. Well worth a watch or catch up. I'm late to the this. Funny and full of stupid situations. Not perfect but lots of LOL

She was particularly evil in the new Judge Dredd. Strikes me as a good actor, maybe very good

She is brilliantly evil as Cersei in Game of Thrones.

Worth a mention The Mentalist but that may have lost it's way The Mentalist is required viewing in our household - one of the very few dramas I watch ... I actually think it has got better once that whole 'Red John' saga was done and dusted - just went on a bit too long for my liking ... Think the new characters in the FBI are excellent.

We still watch it but I often wonder about the quality and substance afterwards.
When it first started I loved the 'reading' he did Since then it has usually been parlour tricks and trying to catch people out

I'm not very big on TV, but have seen a few of these dramas. My partner and I just started 'True Detective' at the weekend - very good on the whole, may well fill the void left by Breaking Bad, and then some!

I'd like to toss Doctor Who and Sherlock into the mix, in fact I just have. We've just finished watching the box set of Babylon 5 (42 DVDs) which I still class as one of the greatest science fiction series' ever made. We've now started in on the box set of Battlestar Galactica, only 20 Blu-rays to wade through this time.

I couldn't resist at £32.00 with free delivery from Amazon - 24 series 1 to 8 plus the 'Redemption' special. Just the 49 DVDs this time, or as it's described on the packaging "49 discs - 192 episodes - 135 hours." My retirement, when it arrives, is pretty well booked up. We've still got the complete Farscape set to watch as well.

24 series 1 to 8 plus the 'Redemption' special. There's enough plot twists and turns in that lot to blend an iPad. Enjoy!

Hannibal is worth a look. Very graphic though. I also enjoyed True Detective, bit of a slow burner IMO but worth sticking with it. Boardwalk Empire has been one of my favourites.
Da vincis Demons has been enjoyable also.

Me and the missus recently completed series one and two of the US version of House Of Cards. It is a classy production all round plus excellently scripted and acted. We enjoyed it immensely...
