Just finished Lost Girl and Sleepy Hollow. Just started The Black List Season 2. I'm interested to see that Wayward Pines seems quite good, judging by the reactions here. Unfortunately, having read the books, the "big reveal" wouldn't come as much of a surprise to me.

I'm still enjoying Wayward Pines S2. We're up to Ep.7 now.
Elsewhere, Dark Matter S2 has started well and I'm looking forward to Lie to Me which I thought had been cancelled but is back for another season.

Lie to Me which I thought had been cancelled but is back for another season. Ah damn, "new to Alibi" is not the same as new. It had finished after all, I had just forgotten I had seen S3. Never mind, they're worth watching again. Tim Roth plays an amusingly annoying character (Tim need not apply) who can read facial expressions like no-one else. Greatly entertaining.

Shame - I got all excited about that - it was such a good show!

Started watching The man in the high castle. First episode was a bit depressing but interesting. We're sticking with it for now...

I'm loving S2 of Dark Matter. The 'street' version of Android is very cool!

I've just seen the episode where she is given the chip to make her more human.

Very rarely get a chance to see any TV series, but have made time over the past couple of weeks to see Stranger Things - has been very good - last episode to watch tomorrow night.

Watched 'The Secret Agent' recently which was an excellent three-part drama. It had many clever twists and a number of excellent actors and actresses so well worth a watch (you can download it on Sky).

The Secret Agent was gritty and grim, reflecting the time accurately I think.
Very well done, not that good for me though

Started watching Stranger things... Bit like a more innocent (so far), slightly sci-fi Fargo series II

We've just started on 12 monkeys. Loved the film, not completely sure about the series yet.

S1 was tolerable but it became very convoluted and tiresome and I gave up on it.

19-2 just gets better.
Stunning episode just shown. Echoes of The Wire in one story thread

I'm generally not into watching TV series. As good as they may be, I'd rather sit down and watch the 2 hour movie rather than the 8-24 episode series. Even then they may continue to make another series, which is more time spent watching something which may be dpgradually going downhill as they run out of ideas. You could argue that a TV series has more time to explain things or spend more time on any given scenario in a movie, but they never really seem to. Half of the time they don't venture out from the scenarios in the movie. Ten hours of a series is five films to me 50(or three of some of my favourite movies), which can give me more diverse subjects to view, and I can fir some in when it's more convenient.
Stranger Things was fairly unique really, but being a fan of The Goonies, Super 8, alien films in general, and slowly discovering Survive (who wrote the music), I thought it would be worth giving a try. The only other series I've watched over the last few years was the first series of True Detective, but I was getting into this whilst away from home, so stopped things at around episode 6 to purchase it on Bluray and to listen to on my system. I've still yet to watch them throu from the beginning.
