After Bodkin Netflix suggested Obituary. Guess I have a ting for 'nice' Irish girl Siobhán Cullen🙂
Enjoyed that too.
Not sure what next?
Tending to avoid Amazon Prime cos of the ads. Feckers! Let them eat zero use data for a while!
I tink they've had more -ve feedback as the length of the ads has gone down again.

If you haven't seen it already, Wanderlust on Netflix is good.

Enjoying watching "1923" on Paramount+ Really liked "1883" series, so this is a nice continuation. Taylor Sheridon has a lot of productions currently on Paramount....

I really enjoyed Dark Matter (the Blake Crouch one). It was well adapted and didn't outstay its welcome. I didn't particularly like Joel Edgerton for the key part, but Jennifer Connelly can do no wrong. And, what makes it so good is that it's based on a brilliant book, another winner from Blake Crouch.

Moving on to S4 and For All Mankind continues to push good alternative reality SF, keeping other tech real like simple mobile phones etc. No more Shantel VanSanten, though

Continuing my Taylor Sheridon saga.. "Bass Reeves" series was excellent, but "1923" is the best in my opinion (just wish they could finish the series)

I'm watching End of Summer on iPlayer.
An engrossing Swedish series about the unsolved disappearance of a young boy in the 80's. The story comes back to haunt his family and his sister, a grief counsellor, investigates ...

Finished End of Summer and annoyingly my whodunnit guess was completely wrong. It's a disturbing but engrossing series which is beautifully shot too ... very filmic and reminiscent of the era.

Series 2 of "Troppo" has landed on Prime Video, and is billed as an " Amazon Original" whereas season 1 was a " freevee original". so, promotion of a sort. I enjoyed s1 and I'm looking forward to s2, even if there are still snakes (*shudder*) in it. Content advisory
Violence, substance use, alcohol use, smoking, foul language, sexual content. Yup, that ticks most boxes.

Finally got round to watching the man in the high castle. I was chatting with the girlfriend as we both enjoy trying to make sense of what is going on. She good with the small details whilst I am more big picture first and then absorb the details. Anyway I said a few times the only thing that explains it's premise is the multiverse theory. She just put it down to my hippy tendencies. Episode 10 ends with one of the leading characters travelling to our multiverse. Smug expression ensures on my behalf.
