Love Death + Robots finished, and 3 Robots definitely takes first prize. Of the episodes I watched tonight Ice Age and Lucky 13 are worthy of mention, but all of them were quite watchable. I must get back to Lovecraft Country now, episode 4 has been waiting for me for three or four days now.

Away has been keeping me entertained, but it's not all good. The science has me scratching my head, why astronauts who are mainly scientists would keep calling the machinery that generates water its 'heart' instead of using technical terminology, has me confused. Perhaps the script writers are just pandering to a clueless audience? There is much character development and a lot of it is good, but not all the characters are consistent and there is too much religious content for my liking, even if it's used to illustrate their backgrounds.
I would guess that its general lack of action will have lost it a lot of viewers, but that's a good thing in my book. A mission to Mars is going to be stultifyingly dull, interspersed with moments of life-threatening danger.
Hilary Swank always gives a good performance and is convincing here.

Finished Hanna series 2 - totally compelling and left perfectly set up for series 3.
Bring it on but don't make us wait too long please!

The last four eps or so are completely breathless, just brilliant stuff.
You'll have to see about Marissa!

Foundation trailer
This looks good. Why Apple TV, though? I'm going to have to wait bloomin' ages to watch it.

I'm dreading what they may do to Foundation. Asimov was my "proper" introduction to hard science fiction, and I devoured his books. I still have them all in paperback, and on my eReader. Funnily enough, I've got four books left of a series I'm reading, and I'm trying to work up the courage to read all of his novels again, start to finish. I wonder if they still hold the same magic for me, or whether the writing style may seem dated now.
Talking of science fiction, I've just watched e1 of Steve Carell's "Space Force." It had some good moments, Lisa Kudrow is great, if somewhat underused. John Malkovich is fun too.

I've seen half a dozen of them now. It's decidedly second rate, some of the humour seems forced and it's not very laugh out loud funny. The whole cast seem underused.

The Foundation trilogy was special
When Apple let go of it I will probably know what others think. Will still be expecting less than the books standard

Looks like I'll be ditching it then.

Watched the start of Moscow Noir on 4.
Not sure how far I'll go with it yet. It's about murky goings on with a young Swedish guy desperately trying to make money with acquisitions and mergers in Russia.
